Ask a daily opioid user of 3 years anything

Also general opiate discussion thread

How did this start?

>3
I've got 20+
Spinal cord injury.
AMA

Had a major Operation that started it, been on them ever since

Why the focus on opioid drugs when there's safer, more enjoyable drugs?

At least in my experience opioids usually come with a general feeling of lethargy and nausea.

do you feel worse intellectually speaking?

Hello, I am a benzodiazepine user for 5 years
Opiates do not work for me

Yikes, 20 years? You ever managed time off of it?? And honestly I prefer opiates over anything. Takes all emotional/physical pain away, leaves you happy and still able to function on moderate doses

>general feeling of lethargy and nausea.
Dont od on them, take them like you're supposed to and you wont have an issue

Not at all, if anything I feel like I have a better out look on life

I find benzos to be Tricky, lorazepam is a go to for me out of the bunch

I switch a lot between drugs and use lidocaine patches for localized relief.

This, it's not recreational use it's for pain management.

I have to cycle every 6 months between klonopine and xanax.I grow a tolerance to them rather quickly, the others just dont work at all for me.

I was on morphine for around 2 and a half, got taken of it and have mixed between milder stuff such as dihydro or just plain old codeine

OP here, this is a discussion and AMA thread so pain treatment/recreational are both welcome

my parents sell prescription pain killers and methadone

What are you currently using?

fentanyl and benzos

My go to lately is fentanyl patches. I've had just about every oxy combo there is.

Ugh fentanyl, I have access to it but honesty to chicken shit to go near. A part from OD risk alone I can’t imagine how bad WD must be

scary drug and been with people while they used it for suicide

I'm nevèr doing a WD, that's never been a part of my management plan. The SCI will kill me before the drugs. Most likely it'll be infection related.

How constapated are you right now.
