literally everything. they dont sound remotely similar unless you consider everything with distortion to be the same.

Black Metal is generally considered to be, at least at its most basic, lo-fi thrash with shouted vocals about satanic/demonic themes, though other bands have changed that formula over the years.
Death Metal is faster and generally more technical than thrash, with growled or screamed vocals about gore, war, and other disturbing topics.
Grindcore is extremely fast, to the point where there are albums of 5-15 second long songs. Yeah. The vocals are generally extremely fast and focus on similar topics to death metal.

Metal is for children.

Grindcore is patrician
Death Metal is normie contrarian
Black Metal is edgy contrarian

Basically this

black metal is not even rock music, whereas death and grind are extreme rock music

Only correct answer.

>disturbing topics.

These are nothing alike but then who am I to talk, thinking all jazz sounds the same.

>black metal is not even music*
ftfy

this is also true to some extent

WRONG

*bloques vous path*

ITT

this is hardly bm

RIP grindgoat

Black metal is definitely rock music.

Basically,
>Death Metal
Is a genre that evolved from heavy metal to have more "extreme" vocals (think cookie monster) but is otherwise, generally, just sort of heavy metal / thrash riffs maybe lower in pitch and on more distorted guitars. Though, there are lots of spinoffs of death metal and it is probably the "widest" of the three genres (Technical Death Metal, is, as the name implies, more "technical", meaning lots of sweeping, fast riffs with loads of notes).
>Black Metal
Is a sort of spinoff of death metal but more influenced by thrash and hardcore punk. It sort of sounds like hardcore punk, except lower, darker, and all instruments are played faster, though usually the actual "music" moves more slowly (as in, chord changes are less frequent, giving the music a more "lumbering" feel).
>Grindcore
Is pretty much a spinoff of black / death metal as well, but even more influenced by hardcore punk. It sounds a lot like hardcore punk really, but just with harsher vocals, and maybe some more technical type riffs than you would generally hear in hardcore punk.

black metal is not a genre of music, because strictly musically speaking, black metal is death metal, and has absolutely nothing new to offer

haha

yeah you're wrong

Black metal turns you black. Death metal kills you. Grindcore grinds your nuts and anus into a fine powder.

rephrasing that, disturbing topics to the average listener.

>grindcore not making you perform sick grinds while skateboarding
