Fuck you. James Hetfield will always be cool.

The funny thing about people below >25 is just how sure it is that you'll forever be "cool" and so will your music choices. Before you know it there will be a new generation of cellphone-zombies on here calling your favorite bands "dadrock" and making 50 threads per day about some new genre that involves "avante-garde disco 4/4 uptempo tripHOP-trap ghost-house" musicians named GA**GM$$$-NICKELSLIT and you'll be rolling your eyes like me.

40 is a big deal, it's the male menopause

Kill yourself effeminate white boy

>artist turns 360 degrees

Mayweather

yes, and so is getting copious amounts of poon (and (supposedly) cock) on the daily, more than you could even dream

this tripled my major depression, what's the point of living a week longer if future days are guaranteed to get progressively worse in ways I can't fully appreciate

Ehhhhhh...you're kind of pushing it, user

halfway to 30 and this shit is true.

it's not actually depressing though, it's liberating. It opens up entire genres and decades of music that you wrote off because it was "dad rock" or was sounded different than the genres you and your friends were into in your teens and twenties. I couldn't get into Steely Dan until I hit 30 and now I'd die without their discography -- once I gave them a chance it was the musical equivalent of seeing new colors that didn't even know existed until then.

We are bundles of insecurity falseflagging as confidence AKA coolness when we are young...I remember it vividly and was just like the kids here except I was way into 90s math rock/indie rock and thought everything else was lame old man music. But now I have a giant fucking catalog of many genres of music from many decades that I connect to in a much more lasting way that I ever did and I could care less what a bunch of youngin's think of my taste.

I wonder when he'll officially become less popular because he seems to be at an all time high now.
