+ The Stooges, Pop Group
- TMR
That Joan Of Arc album is so underrated, Barge is one of their best of all time. easily in my top 10 JOA songs.
What do you like about Beefheart?
Cool, a lot of stuff I used to like few years ago
+ Songs Ohia, Kang Crimson, Booji Boys
- Pop Group
Dunno what to rec you
+ Microphones, Slayer, Iron Maiden
- that Elliott Smith album
Check Eric's Trip.
lots of interesting stuff in here, wtf is booji boys? you recommend?
+microphones, elliot smith, nas
+the smiths
-the pixies, have never got that album sadly :'(
+MBV, tVU, Frank Ocean
that mission of burma album looks cool
>that mission of burma album looks cool
It's my favorite post-punk album.
If you want to listen to them you should start with their Signals, Calls, and Marches EP because Vs. is too messy and rough.
+Chapterhouse, Avril, Kate Bush
++Fleeting Joys, MBV, The Cure
+The Smiths, Galaxie 500
thanks bro
...
>-the pixies, have never got that album sadly :'(
Me neither tbqh, I gave it a listen this week but it just sounds like a collage rock band for me. I kinda understand their importance but it's not my cup of tea.
i like all those albums but this looks like babby's 2nd day on Sup Forums
>the pixies, have never got that album sadly
there's nothing really to get
it's just a fun pop rock album
It's got some great tracks like Monkey Gone to Heaven, Debaser, Gouge Away.
I don't really see how someone could hate it.
music is boring me and i need listening to classics
hol up
fair enough
dont hate it just really dont vibe with it much :/
lot of rap, some rock/post hardcore
oh alright, we all have different tastes
Wow, i've never seen another JOA fan on Sup Forums
Their whole catalog is underrated, Tim never gets the recognition he deserves
It sucks that there really isn't anywhere on the internet to talk about them anymore
>what do you like about beefheart
idk, the riffs are legimately catchy, always interesting interplay between guitars/marimba/whatever, his vocals and lyrics are fun, amazing drumming, you hear something different every time p much on stuff like TMR
Booji Boys is really lo-fi garage rock, I need to listen to it again but it was alright
Kinoko Teikoku - The Long Goodbye

is this who i think it is????
Kill Bill - Ramona

I've never listened to Everything Everything. is the new album is a good starting point?
still can't believe that Tyler put out an album in 2017 that i not only gave the time to listen to, but actually really really liked. still haven't bothered with Cherry Bomb.
i need to revisit PP&DS.
MOR is great but that's all i got
is Opus III any good?
i went through this phase on and off throughout the last couple years. agree with CHz being a classic btw.
mostly good shit although i will never consider Pablo Honey to be a proper radiohead album.
is PVRIS any good?
i wish i could find a Brockhampton song that made me wanna actually listen to one of their projects. the impression i get of them is that they're the Grizzly Bear of indie rap. that's not a good thing btw.
king gizzard is going to have 2 albums in my top 5 of 2017 at the end of the year. they aren't fucking human.
i wish i could like Cale's solo shit more than i do.
>Mangy Love
mah nigga
seeing Elephunk in with all that other stuff made me throw up in my mouth a little bit
i should give Beefheart another chance but i REEEEALLY do not wanna sit through TMR again.
80's KC is so underrated btw.
yo, i think the problem a lot of people have with beefheart is they try to jump straight into TMR and thus get turned off from all of his other stuff
try lick my decals if you want the tmr sound but better produced and more "cohesive", or maybe try stuff like shiny beast and safe as milk for something completely different

favourite track off FPM?
how's that Huerco S. album?
Favourite track off Saturation 2 and Flower Boy?
Also, nice MPB
Starts well, tapers off in the 2nd half, Steppin' Out and Bachelor Pad are sweet though.
Conversations or Very Last Drop?
Conversations. Very Last Drop is still pretty good though. Fantastic Plastic World and Steppin' Out are pretty good.
holy shit i actually had one that you approved of
judging by your collage i'm gonna guess either Huerco or Dusty...?
Both great tunes desu
Dusty, not heard that Huerco
