The olympics was only 7 months ago

>the olympics was only 7 months ago

What went wrong?

What were they expecting people to use the pool for?

giving it to a country of monkeys

The Olympics were a mistake

>pillars in front of the stands

holding the Olympics in 3rd world countries should be illegal

>we destroyed a perfectly functional raceway for a shitload of white elephants that cost thrice what said raceway costed

There you have it, how brazilians deal with public money.

nothing, i quite enjoyed it.

as for the abandoning of venues, well no shit, who the fuck goes diving or playing tennis in their free time in brazil? like 5 people in the country?

do brazilians - in general - view the hosting of the world cup and olympics within 2 years as a good idea in hindsight?

well with all the stolen phones and wallets they're a lot richer

A judiciary/parliamentary coup did some months before Olympics

Nope, at least the ones that knew the basics on how to handle public money knew what we had coming.
But back when we were chosen the hosts, we thought of this as a chance to prove ourselves worthy of hosting such stuff and of being capable of being an actually developed country. All lies perpetuated by the old and new elites.

Vai um pão com mortadela da Friboi, petralha desgraçado? Nem o PT enche o saco com "muh golpe" mais.

>MBL

>Brazil

that's what went wrong, both the WC and the Olympics were a money laundering scheme to spend a trillion of tax dollars in overpriced construction

The Americas get progressively more corrupt as you go south.

So does that mean LA's not getting your vote for 2024?

Nothing. Why did you make this thread?

WROOONG

we're literally, literally the southernmost country on the planet and have very few corruption

How on Earth is Romania not Orange or Yellow

Trump will make LA great by then

>corruption perception
>perception

as perceived by a country's own inhabitants?
i knew germans were fucking stupid but this takes it on a whole new level

>Italy
Map is shit.

This is relative.

We also have corruption obviously, but compared to most of the world, it isn't as much ofa problem over here.

Lack of strong borders has made the idea of nation vs nation pointless. Most of the appeal for the Olympics is in that nationalism and otherwise most people don't care about the events.
