Why wasn't he a superstar? The guy's pretty handsome, has a fantastic Chris Cornell-meets-Daryl Hall voice, is an instrumental virtuoso and is a very solid writer in multiple genres, from Hall and Oates-type pop soul to jazz fusion wank to SRV and Gary Moore-esque blueshammer. Is it because of the fact that he originally comes from an '80s metal background and never really escape that stigma?
