What hobbies does Sup Forums have?

Sup Forums,

I live in little town in Florida and lately I have just been working at my IT job for 40 hours a week and then going home and being lazy
>Netflix
>friends
>smoking weed
>vidya

I want to get into some new hobbies to meet more people and wanted to see what other Sup Forumstards do

>inb4 NEET
>inb4 live with parents and 300 pounds
>inb4 neck beard

Well Sup Forums, what are some of your hobbies?

I feel I am being too sheltered and political and need to get out more

I brew beer, garden, fish and hunt..all can be done on an individual level, but there are corresponding groups that meet up to discuss topics and socialize.

Buy a model online. Put it together.

Even if it's a little plastic thing, putting stuff together in your hands is a cool feeling.

Work up to doing wood working or electronics or whatever projects on your own without instructions.

Drop the herbal jew and drop the virtual jew

That's what i am looking lately even though I enjoy my privacy it does not really meet people. Where I live it's difficult to hang out since I'm a good 20 to 30 min drive from everything.

Pure cringe, please stay away from Sup Forums, why are you even on this board. It's bad enough on Sup Forums and Sup Forums

Motorcycles and guns

Lifting weights, Like you should be OP

I drink a lot, work out, and read.

reading lifting programming video games music

golly there's a Sup Forums board for every single one of my interests!

I am a loyal Trump follower and this site is such. Breath of fresh air away from liberal sites and overdramatize SJWs. I have been here for many years. I started this thread so i can look for more warming hobbies rather then continuing down the void of degeneracy like I am very well I am currently in.

guns
model ww2 stuff
argue on Sup Forums
garden
reload and cast bullets for guns

I don't like other people so I mostly do solitary hobbies though.

I also just noticed you're a phoneposter, so please, fuck off

I swear, Hiro should bomb phones, but that asian Jew won't do it since it gets so much traffic. Every single faggot like OP is a phoneposter, no exception.

I love guns but I am not making enough money to buy a shit ton. Still a boob with it but considering getting magazines to start educating myself.

26yo french fag here
I also work in it and smoke weed
>skateboarding
>gardening for food
>voluntary in a non profit organizm for neutral web
>fap alot
>roleplay games sometimes

Sup Forums is blocked at my work bro, gotta feed the addiction somehow!

school isn't work, nice try tough underageb&

Marksmanship
Hunting
I play the occasional vidya
40k (my guilty pleasure)
Cooking
Painting (my 40k stuff)

Tabletop wargames.

I play Age of Sigmar.

I can do it alone or socially so it works great for me.
I also work on my Jeep a lot.

I work out.
I ride my bike
I remodel my house
I plan for DOTR I read about off the grid things I can do for when this world goes to shit
I practice setting snares
I'm not a "prepper" but I do hobby alot of things in that life style
I read about how mushrooms can save the world (based paul staments)
I am a degenerate console fag, but I build friendships with people around the globe
I study Spanish (I'm lazy at it and talk to lots of Spanish people)
I fuck up all kinds of threads for "correct the record" that's my newest hobby, but it's one of the most degenerate ones.
I like you
I do both, and maintain a healthy balance in my life. it's almost 7am, and I'll do more in these few hours than most will do all day.

>projecting this much

Haha jeez user, who pissed in your Cheerios this morning?

I haven't been in school in a few years now, I'd finish my bachelors if I didn't drop one of my classes over 2 times and now stuck with a almost 2 grand class that is needed for my degree

Thanks for contributing user! I wanted to get into a hobbie like Takwondo or something too! I live far as duck from everyone so meeting new people is a bitch. I want to do more stuff like you said here. Meeting people is one go the harder goals. It's been a eye opener that it's spot harder to me people when not in college! Especially working 40 hours a week

Reading, vidya and building playing warhammer

40 hours is nothing. everyone who writes here, has to do something like it.
I should be remodeling a bathroom, right now, but my customer went into the hospital for a stroke over the weekend.

Life is a bitch without a few hobbies. I'm getting old (and fat) so lots of my hobbies revolve around being fit. I also have two badly abused shelter dogs that I have adjusted to a normal life.

What do you want to do with your life, user? I do most of my hobbies, because I think DOTR will happen, and I practice. Even my mushrooming (I have about 8 years into it) would come in handy. I don't grow magic mushrooms, just edible (these days) but I know any and every aspect of it.

I like this thread.

>building cars
>hockey
>guns

All pretty expensive, but tons of fun.

I am restoring a classic car.

Any pic ?

side note, my friend that does many martial arts says ju-juitsu is superior.
>things I want to do
learn the guitar ( I know the drums, and saxophone)
Practice another language, I'm leaning on Russian or Japanese.
Wood working. I've built some furniture, but I'd like to learn more.
Write a book, Couldn't care if it ever got published, I want to do it for me.

Ya, here is my front passenger door which is in my room.

Fighting and card games are my hobbies.

love the color
thanks for sharing

SO often we just bitch at each other on Sup Forums, nice to see you all as humans.

Board games, mini war gaming, soccer, and adventuring in nature while smoking weed

I used to bike and play tennis/golf but I haven't in a really long time so I won't count them the rest I do either everyday or week

I drink, fight, and fuck

Thanks, it was the original color for the car. The color is called Viking Blue.

youtube.com/watch?v=M-KRQt8LGMI
couldn't help it when you named the song

Watching anime, discovering new music and cycling.

Nice door.
What classic model is it

It is a 1962 Ford Galaxie.

I'm currently a NEET and I am becoming increasingly miserable with this situation. In a couple weeks I am leaving the country to train at a Muay Thai gym so I can get fit, cultivate discipline and work on my hobbies.

>Cooking
>Playing the Piano
>Learning Japanese

I used to Powerlift but due to an unrelated injury I had to stop for awhile and I fell off the wagon, hence the upcoming trip. I'm considering going to a culinary school when I get back.

God damn I wish I could join you, it would be even better if I could.

>viking blue
It sounds fucking awesome, but I like vikings.
I don't think you said WHAT the car is(?).
I really dig this thread, thanks OP, I forget PEOPLE make up Sup Forums sometimes. Nice to humanize you all. Great start to my day.

Look a few posts above,

Sport shooting. Prepares you for the coming wars but it's not a place to pick up girls if you know what I'm >implying.

I play some guitar, lift weights but otherwise it's solitary pursuits. I have a library, is book collecting a hobby?

Thanks user and good input! I recently saw family and went to Disney so that sparked my life have more meaning then just sitting around rotting away. I'm looking at going backs the gym that my company has but I don't have a exact goal or idea, just looking for something I'll like and can meet new people doing!

>Chess
>Philosophy

That's about it.

Thanks user, these are all things I want to get into!

Cars, gardening, reading, lifting, fishing, girls...

I fall asleep watching tv/movies, I work in IT so the last thing I want to do in my free time is stare at a monitor.

Didn't expect anyone to get it!
Good user
Good

>I fall asleep watching tv/movies, I work in IT so the last thing I want to do in my free time is stare at a monitor.

You work in IT and you're going to pretend a TV is different from a monitor?

You work in IT and you /own/ a TV?

Your story doesn't make any sense.

Ummmmm when working in it you use the monitor to work

Tv no thinking

I like to play basketball too, but I'm always the only white so I play rarely.

I will say I am going to go out and get The Art of The Deal and read that! I am hoping it will make me interested in reading since I haven't read a book since high school senior year which is looking at around 6 years of not reading now? I am hoping it will influence me to be more successful which is what I heard a lot of people say after reading it! I wish we had mountains in Florida for me to hike in :( all we have is shitty swamps and such

Sup Forums, pot smoking, vidya, body weight fitness, pets, fiancé

That's about it. I need to stop vidya. Vidya is horribly addicting.

>I like to play basketball too, but I'm always the only white so I play rarely.

That's an advantage. I'm white as snow and get no respect from blacks until I start draining threes and dropping floaters in their eye. Easy points

Like I said, most of my hobbies revolve around not getting fat, and the end of the world. I can grow enough mushrooms to live off of junk mail and pure garbage.
I could snare rabbits, after my ammo runs out.

I'm old, and don't have kids. You could say my wife is a part time hobby, but she wouldn't like that.
I miss chess. who is your favorite school of philosophy? Because I Sup Forums, Nietzsche but I'm branching into Romans.

I want t to start doing something like this, but I'm 32 and don't know fucking shit about fixing cars.

Good job bro, I don't want to be a NEET and all it took was a family wedding and vacation to make me realize life is short an I need to go out and try new things!

Just know you are changing for the better do stay positive and Do all of this for yourself! Improving yourself is what can break a shitty attitude.
Keep up the hard work user

>reading
>cars/Motercycles
>guns
>building shit
>nature related stuff (hunting, camping, bird watching, fishing, etc
>musical instruments
There you go fag now pick one up

Running and bicycling, reading and computers

Cricket
Poker
Reading

I make enough money to live comfortably whilst I'm at uni doing 2/3

Geological mapping, mineral extraction, gold panning, and GIS, is what I do for a hobby.

I also enjoy reading about the Romans and Buddhism.

Sadly I know nothing about cars but have friends who do, thinks of meeting up with them to have them teach me a thing or 2. I would love to fish, considering talking to my dad about getting if back into that,.

My biggest problems is not getting of my ass and working out, I have little to no motovation after working 8 or more goes in the day sadly. Working to find a wayou motivate myself to keep working hard after work.

I'm so oldskewel punk. I used to have a mowhawk. Now I wear work jeans, or dress shirts.
You couldn't kick the punk out of me with a pack of wild dindus though. If life worked out different I might have been a red laced blackboot skinhead, but it's hard to find a job with that life.
youtube.com/watch?v=xbtaVEA3nw4

Thanks for the kind words, Burgerfriend!
I'm really looking forward to the change.

Yeah working on cars can be a tricky skill to learn but the reward and payout for your time and effort can be massive
What I've been planning on doing is buying myself non running old car and just fixing it up myself
I'm like op and need something to keep me distracted or I will get myself into trouble
I like the idea of being able to take down an entire engine and being able to rebuild it
I also like the idea of restoring an old piece of American machinery from the 50/60's

Anyone have any good tutorials on learning the blues harmonica? My grandpa got me one years ago and I just found it.

Well I am a college student whos trying to transfer out of my shit college.

>Navigating the bureaucracy of several colleges
>No job and very little money (sub 400$)
>Look for work but can't get anything
>Despite some vocational skills and 2 years into a Electrical Engineering degree not really qualified for anything
>Watch movies and series while browsing Sup Forums or listening to pic related
>Bitch about not being able to find a job on Sup Forums and how everything requires a fucking degree these days

I've noticed although I have a small, but okay library of vidya I am playing mindless games like "quake live" more often.
I am in a serious rut here and can't seem to get out of it.

Other than those listed
>RC airplanes (aka "drones") back when I had the money to risk crashing them
>Coming up with half brained money making schemes and seeing them fail miserably

Anyone else know this feel

This.

Building models is a god tier hobby, as is pretty much DIY anything.

Use my money and vacation time to travel
Spend my free time playing vidya

I want to try manual stuff, I will try making a chest out of wood planks and try doing chain mail

My problem was I got a job during high school in IT and never got to experience a uni life. I have been working 40 hours in my IT job since I was 18 and being 24 I just got into a different part of IT at my corporate job and work 8am to 5pm weekdays. I attended a community college but I ealeays regret not going to a uni in a different state or even country to make new friends and try something different my, this why I am stuck looking to meet new people and find a hobby besides sitting at home and rotting!

I'll second it. Thanks to building a model railroad with my father when I was 11, I picked up on basic carpentry, electrical and organizational skills at a very young age. 15 years later I'm still amazed at how well everything works when I visit my parents. I'll still occasionally put a kit together for old times sake, and because it's enjoyable.

I hope to do the exact same thing with my son in a few years.

Man I wish I could get an IT job right about now
But they all want certs and Computer Science degrees. Even helpdesk and other entry level jobs

And I had the chocie to leave the city too. Was about to go to a C.college upstate and dorm. But I was freaking out about the idea of sharing a room with a stranger and being so far from home. Plus the added idea of having to pay rent and not having a car being marooned in upstate NY.
I have that choice again because of this transfer I am doing, but those same thoughts are coming up again. I'll probably stay local

fucking beautiful building

then it sounds like now is a good time to start learning

youtube nigga. also, learn that shit, that shit is dope af t b quite h w/ you fama lama ding dong

Best recommendation I can make is to start doing a sport that you can be good at. I fence quite frequently. I've met a lot of interesting people and it's a lot of fun. Not only is there national competitive opportunity, the people who do it are all quite personable. I got hit on by an Olympian who was visiting my club one night. I still ride that ego boost.

Cool thread. Surprised you guys have a lot of the same hobbies as I do. Cycling, foraging for plants and mushrooms, want to get into fishing more. Have a garden for the first time this year its doing really well. All prepper stuff but really its frugality stuff so I don't have to work for the system. Also made a cool d&d group. Good cheap hobby with friends its the best

I brew all grain beer, and i work out a lot

North Florida m8?

Muay thai and Brazilian jiujistu, at least 6 times a week. You no other hobbies required.

And kettle bells, based Russian weightlifting cannonballs

I like cooking, cross stitch/embroidery, guerilla gardening (as a means of improving a neighborhood), gardening for food at home, ballroom dancing, bouldering, nature journaling

There are lots of caves around here, so I'd like to get into spelunking. I wish I could volunteer at an animal shelter, but I just don't have the time.

>practice guitar, 30min
>study 2L and 3L, 30min each
>work out (SL + 15 min cardio M W F, 30 min cardio T TH)
>cook most meals
>meditate
>stretching regimen
All this still allows for tasteful amount of time browsing the internet and watching movies or TV.

Anime
My little Pony

DEAL
WITH
IT!

Buy a radio, study and get your HAM license.
Buy a pistol and learn how to shoot it and learn to reload ammunition.
Learn how to play golf.
Build your own AR or AK.
Get a Wrangler and go off-roading.
All of the above you can do by yourself or find a group that has the same interest.

Stop smoking weed, stop porno, and stop playing vidya games. It's a waste of time, energy and money.

BMX bro, lots of good parks in Florida.

I can see OP is a fan of lewd RPG maker games.

Nice datamining thread you fucking faggot.
Sage and report lads.

My hobbies are:
shooting
riding and working on my motorcycle
helping my friends work on their cars
Bushcrafting ... It makes me a lot more comfortable in adverse camping conditions and is almost as therapeutic as riding.

I am a university student, money's tight. Shooting can be a really cheap hobby if you're smart about it. You can get a Ruger 10/22 and .22 rounds are relatively cheap. You don't need to get a membership to arrange, just take it with you if you ever go for a hike or camping and you can set up some metal or paper targets out in the field and shoot there. You guys in the States pay next to nothing for motorcycle insurance so take a look see if you can find a Ninja 250 or a CBR 250 they are great starting bikes and once you gather some experience you can look into getting a bigger bike.

Working on bikes and cars can be incredibly easy if you know where to look. And you can download the service manual online or reference a huge library of YouTube videos available for free to you.

Also building an AR could be a ton of fun and doesn't require to much money as you could do it slowly over time.

Guitar and reading.
