Why not based Stroman?

Daily reminder that beating the Dodgers is equivalent to winning the WS for Giants fans

...

probably to give him some extra rest since he had the WBC

Extra break post-WBC maybe. Definitely deserves it.

Who should i steal from people in tonight's mlb fantasy draft for secret success (again)

royals

Trout

Daily reminder that the Chicago White Sox were obliterated by a 12 year old kid.

>A's trolling the shit out of the Giants

loving every laugh

ST not over yet. Not even for game day.

This is in San Fransisco if it wasn't clear

Cubes

>rooted in Oakland
>franchise comes from Philadelphia, and Kansas City after that
>Will be relocated to Vegas in our lifetime

What exactly was their intention with this?

>"Rooted in Oakland"
>will be relocated within 5 years

yeah Stroman is my main nigga, but he played hard in WBC and had opening day start last season. time to change things up, and Estrada is just as awesome up on the mound. gotta love his changeup

Its only shitposters like you who keep calling for relocations because the team somehow hurt your previous fees fees making you so butthurt at them.

who is available

Just a bit of shitposting lad, whew. Sorry to hurt your feelings.

don't listen to the buttmad giantards

Jon Gray just got injured if anyone cares

Literally who?

Where are they going to build the new Oakland stadium?

O.co is a literal sewage dump. The Raiders are already jumping ship to Vegas.

You really think the MLB is fine with the A's current stadium situation?

Its your feelings that are hurt though.

It's an open secret that they're announcing the new stadium this year you dip

they have no choice, the new CBA kicked them out of the revenue sharing pool, its either build a new stadium or move the team

its fucking ridiculous they are in a top 10 media market yet bitch about muh payroll

Believe me when I say the A's are at the very bottom of my "give a shit about" list.

I'll believe it when I see it.

if they couldn't build a stadium for the Raiders, why would they build one for the A's?

Baseball > handegg

Now that the Raiders are gone though they can put money into one baseball stadium.

Unless they just want to get rid of them.

Injuns to be honest family

Nice

11 team ROTO league. I didn't know what I was doing. thoughts?

does playing in colorado really increase a players batting average? i understand it would have a power effect but it's not going to make a ground ball hit an infield gap

Maybe by as much as 5 hits a season. Those ground balls that might've been knocked down and scooped up for an out at 1st JUST get by the defender. Outfielders, particularly larger ones, may run out of steam to chase after long fly balls and let them drop instead of going for a diving catch or running catch of some sort.

The outfield is yuuuuge.
Outfielders play very deep, lots of balls drop in.

Coors Field doesn't make one hit better, but it makes the hits themselves better than they would be in a non-meme ballpark.

Daily reminder that the Marlins are willingly placing their entire 2017 season in the hands of Edinson Volquez by starting him in the 2017 season opener

ahh right i didn't consider these. for some reason my brain couldn't process potential non-line drive contact

sigh

ST my man

there's a reason Rene Rivera is starting opening day

Combine that with Noah's inability to hold runners and I see the mets giving up a metric shit ton of SBs this year. Add in an anemic offense and a rotation held together with spit and scotch tape and I would be shocked if they were even able to meme their way in to a WC berth. I see them hovering around .500 for the year.

>some of those starting pitcher choices

for what purpose

They can buy all the ad space in SF that they want. They need to try whatever they can.

I told you I didn't know what I was doing (Korean was a last round joke pick.)

d'arnaud won't be catching noah. he'll still give up a bunch of SBs regardless, but it won't be as bad as it could be.

i think the pitching will be fine overall, we led the league in WAR from pitchers last year even with the injury, and the rotation is so deep. the offense is the real problem; if we can't produce runs like we did during the final months of the year last year, a wild card spot is our peak, even if the pitching is as good as it can be.

Pick Didi up brah. I bet he hits .275 with 25 bombs

curious to know what's wrong with them. I don't meme baseball too much.

Marcos Molina for Stephen Vogt

I just tried scenarioing this with your AL west and the numbers don't add up. Theyre playing each other as well so it doesnt make sense for them to have those amount of wins and losses.

Who is even the Dodgers #2 pitcher? Brandon McCarthy? Alex Wood? The Dodgers pitching is hot fucking trash, 4/5 of their rotation doesn't even belong in the bullpen of a contending team

Yankees are going to cuck the shit out of the AL east

not the jays, i forgot where i saw it but their record vs toronto the last couple of years is horrible while they are alright ok the other al east teams.

You know Tanaka can't pitch everyday, right?

Fuck
