Hey Sup Forums. I've been lurking here since 2008, back then I was in middleschool and fucking loved memes. I loved memes so much I made a meme book filled with all of my favorite memes and other shit, and I'm here to share my meme book with you. Anyone that was here in 2008/2009 should recognize a good chunk of this shit, and if you weren't here this is the kind of stuff that was common here back then.

For context on that one: It's a reference to Dofus, a game I played in middle school. There are enemies called "Blops", and they are made of goo. pic related.
I couldn't decide on a handle for Dofus but wanted to lose the shitty "Wyoshineo" I always went by, and "thegooblop" is what came to mind because I farmed blops at the time.

Oh I'm saving the album. The video is a permanent copy for now, but if the books survived in the current condition from 2009 to 2017, I think I can keep them around for a while longer.
For context the principle story with the awesomefaces is 100% real. Dramatized a tiny bit, but the actual events happened just like that. I'll write up book 3's shit now, don't let the thread die because this one might take a while to write up

Man, it's just my opinion, but I think that memes as a whole have gotten better over the years. They may all fade at one point, but back in '08, memes focused too much on 'randem lol xd.' Still, seeing this is a blast from the past, and you've inspired me. Memebook 4, anyone?
I just went through the video, the order I made the books from the order of the video is 2, then 3, then 1. So the story about the awesomefaces is from the book 2, which is first up in the video lineup because outside of this thread nobody will know the story in order.
Working on book 3 greentext now, it's a true story and the books and the contents of them semi-confirm it just by comparing them and checking to see the things that were added/subtracted between books
Oh I don't think the best memes have gotten worse per say, but the quality overall totally went down, and Sup Forums in general is not the place for memes because it's more porn oriented now.
I'd make a meme book 4, but Rick and Morty, Andy Sixx, and Bananas aren't as cute and without school I have no reason to print the memes. I might make another book for nostalgia's sake though, I spent a lot of time with friends on them and making another would be super nostalgic.Final Greentext soon

At about the same time I was sharing memes and gore with my friends over that xbox 360 picture viewer social "app". For a school project I chose to make meme t-shirts, and I only managed to sell two to two of my friends who knew about Sup Forums, most people just didn't know what they were about. Funny when you think that now it's just everywhere.

It's funny, after the Awesomeface scare I never touched unwholesome memes. I still don't like gore memes, and always go for the cute and funny memes instead. Pic related is my ideal kind of modern meme, taking something serious and making it silly.
