Today I woke up at 4pm.
What can I do to not miss the race tomorrow?

Firstly, it's VES, not VER.

Secondly, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA no.

Don't go to sleep, 16hrs awake is not that much

I thought you were saying "bong" and I was gonna say "Wurz ain't a bong m8"

In your dreams

wow that's a rare picture of hamilton

Reminder.

no don't

...

Italy giving the worst possible advice.

Can someone explain why the brake trace on here never shows any graduation? Either the brake is fully applied, or not at all: youtube.com/watch?v=4mtjC9DozXs

Like, what? If they are fully applying the brake pedal then surely they would lock up at every single turn

>Firstly, it's VES, not VER.
not this year f a m

>Implying he isn't a neet that doesn't need fixed woke hours

he was already exposed last year, i don't get the meme

disappointment of the season

actual he looked somewhat decent against Magnussen towards the end
turns out both aren't that good

Amx Vestappen.

I didn't watch qualy but already know the results. Did I miss any happening? Why did Ricky and Stroll fucked up?

the brake pedal has very little travel so it's more a function of how much weight the driver puts on it iirc

both lost the car out of the corner accelerating, Ricciardo into gravel and a wall and Stroll just into the wall

magnussen screwed up once. I'll wait a couple of races until commiting to a judgement

Ricciardo carried too much speed into the corner, Stroll is a shit driver who can't control the car

I'm 12 what does HWL mean? Howling with Laughter?

He said that turn 1 will be critical if people want to gain positions.

How many crazy attempts will we see?

Honda Will Lose

There are so many variables team to team and driver to driver, that there is no real linear data to take to present as a linear bar on the hud. Noone most likely ever presses the pedal to the floor, unlike gas which has clear min max values. Plus all the energy recovery systems working different lap to lap would distort info too.

HAMBOTVET

He's totally throwing one down the inside of whoever happens to be next to him when he reaches the braking zone.

Ricky would be wise to hug the inside to avoid the accident maxy inevitably causes.

VETHAMRAI

>He said that turn 1 will be critical if people want to gain positions
how is that different from any other race?

>$troll who was supposed to replace Felipe is exposed for the hack he is
>Felipe meanwhile get a second chance of at least one more season and is of to a flying start

Because there will be pretty much no overtaking this race since there's so much less room. That makes any positions gained there much more important

>Another season of HWL

Will we ever see parity ever again?

>2000 comes aorund
>Sccumi wins lol

thx. What about K Mag and Vandoorne?

just slow

Magnesium is just SHIT

Vandoorne still had the fucking SHIT testing setup Honda used in Barcelona. Nandos got a new package.

Kmag went off track identically to how amx did in webm related, not sure about Stoffel but the McLaren is shit

Still doesn't explain the trace though, why is it always showing maximum application of the brakes? Maximum application = lock up

>that there is no real linear data to take to present as a linear bar on the hud.
Surely there is, just like the data for the throttle.

>Noone most likely ever presses the pedal to the floor, unlike gas which has clear min max values.
But surely the force being applied to the brakes can be measured too

>Plus all the energy recovery systems working different lap to lap would distort info too.
Well I guess they could show a) amount of force being applied to brake pedal, or b) amount of force being applied at the caliper

Surely the teams must record this telemetry? So they can see for themselves how hard the brakes are being applied

>dat slowmo rear wing twerk at the end

FOM a shit and only register it as a binary on/off

What you lads think of quali? Hwl?

Vettel and Bottas both made mistakes on their quickest laps so it probably will be more competitive in the future, but for the races at least Merc have better tyrewear so it'll be fully MWL

Seen the cars now for the first time, kind of disappointed.

How many times has Stroll crashed from testing up to quali?

>Vettel less than three tenths off Lewis
>Ferrari jumping one of the Mercs

It's hardly MWL anymore lads, proper MWL was like 8 tenths to a second

Should b gud

So Bottas was already closer to Hamilton in his first real test in his new car than Rosberg ever was in Australia. This bodes well for the future. Bottas made two clear mistakes which cost him about 0.4sec.

This confirms my suspicions that Bottas is clearly faster driver than Rosberg.

hasstrollcrashedyet.com/

Two and a half proper crashes.

This was not my concern.

My concern is how long it takes him to match loowis. If he takes half a year, I worry for his future at Merc.

>This confirms my suspicions that Bottas is clearly faster driver than Rosberg.

Not really hard since Secondberg was complete shit

He's the worst world champion ever

>Edward Kravitz

*Theodore Slotover

.

>give rookie a piece of shit car
>give "le best driver in F1" a much better car
>claim drivers are getting equal treatment

Opinions on Vandoorne aside, this is terminal reputation/career sabotage.

> FOUR TIMES
That's worse than I thought.

>Jacques
>Damon Hill
>Button
>Old man Rosberg

>He's the worst world champion ever
what does that make Hamilton then? considering 2014 went to the last race, and he beat him in 2016

will there be v8s or anything interesting on before the race?

hasstrollcrashed.today is better

The other one is run by a marketing company trying to get free advertising from F1.

>Button

Fuck you leaf

Hamilton is the best driver on the grid currently though, Rosberg won the title because Hamilton got fucked early in the season with mechanical issues

Lewis GOAT season again.
I love it.

>hasmclarenbrokendown.com/

Do you realise how stupid this make you look?

>He's the worst world champion ever

Button and Hunt are the worst world champions.

But I'm sure you like the taste of British cocks too much to ever admit that though.

>Vetlel
>people unironically rate him

...

I'm wondering the exact same.
Also with the DST coming that's even sooner. Fuck.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Fly here, race is starting at like 2:00 a.m. Eastern I think

Literally none of them were bad champions. Button just had luck and a meme season but was a decent driver overall.

HYBRIDS OUT

FUCK HYBRIDS

I knew it, this is life as a kimi fan.

1:00 A.M. Eastern

nice try lad, it's 1 am edt

>10gridpenalty.jpg

>people falling for this

Button's 2011 was more impressive than his championship year.

10:00 PM Pacific /comfy/

i see no mention of a penalty, amigo

Aus is right, no grid penalty for changing those

Let me guess, you think they 2011 Canadian GP was the greatest race in F1 history.

>Thinking it wasn't

t. someone who wasnt here when it happened

Is every fucking thread going to be infested with obnoxious Hamilboo Brits this season?

>Button
>Hamilton is the best driver on the grid currently

Please return to the BBC 'Have Your Say' section you utter cretin

Name a better one.

All cars make it to Q1

>>Jacques
>>Damon Hill

Jacques was very good when he won the WDC.
It was later in his career that he forgot how to drive.

Hill's WDC was a decent achievement simply because he didn't start racing until he was 25
>I'm surprised all you youngfags don't love him because he supports your "I can still be a WDC even though daddy never took me karting" dream

Seriously, would literally anyone mind if Wehrlein never returned and Giovinazzi raced at Sauber full time?

I would honestly take Giovinazzi-Ericsson over Giovinazzi-Wehrlein even though Wehrlein is likely better than Ericsson.

Btw even though Gio fucked up his fast lap, his fastest lap was STILL faster than Ericsson's fastest lap, pic related

GRAZIE GRAZIE GIOVINAZZI

STILL

Brazil 2007

Yes, should be on the Australian stream.

Depends on how you wish to rate a race but even from that season I would say the German GP was better as a race with multiple cars from different teams fighting for it but it's undeniable that Canada was memetastic fun.

f1 needs italian drivers
