Oh God... I want to touch it!

Loose connection, I would love to put a meter on that, 800 amps I bet.

Pinnacle audio tech in the mid 80's
Bang and Olufsen tangential record player

So weird how little they have changed.

Love that keyboard

I want deadmau5 keyboard set

you could beat a soviet spy to death with it and it would still work!!!

You had the deluxe model, some of us were simply Chiclet key peasants.

Weird, I was just thinking about starting an old tech thread. I was thinking about my aunt and this goofy-ass keyboard she used to have. This would have been in the 90's though, not the 80's.

She was transcriber or something. (Not sure of her actual job title) People like doctors and lawyers would send their tapes of meetings, notes, etc, and she would type them up, using a keyboard like this. And holy fuck was she fast. She would listen to the tapes played at a higher speed so she could get them done quicker. I remember how my cousins and I would be talking and she'd type up the entire conversation with proper spelling, paragraphs, and punctuation.

im so sorry for your loss user...

80's thread? Or a demonstration of how under funded America's school system is?

Bump

why not both???

Op says fuck it.

Sad cunt needed sum dick.

>technoLOGy

Underfunded? It cost like 2 bucks to print out a single transparency sheet.

I know this because I hated my high school social studies teacher and stole all his transparencies for all his classes. He was literally crying in class, saying how it cost him hundreds of dollars to replace them all, not to mention the time he would have to put into redoing them.

Fucking faggot.

...

She was a stenotypist. The job still exist'

Nah, she was cool. And I jacked off thinking about her all the time. Still do actually.

Does the Job BBS on Commodore

Why did you hate him?
How old were you?

russian_led.jpg

>dialing that wheel just enough so that you can see a boob

sounds like hes an edgy 14 year old who is on the verge of either killing himself or shooting up the school...

For you Anons that grew up in the 80s, was there such a thing as the internet? If there was, I imagine it'd be pretty slow and only dial up was the option.

Looked like that. BBS services also existed.

It was the intranet. As in offices and government buildings had networks.

...

Residential? No. There were some dial up services FetchNet, GopherNet, BBS services.... Compuserv and AOL were the breakthrough services that brought the internet to the public.

More 80's tech, I owned one

still works better than most modern window units...

Fuck the polar bears and the ozone layer, R-22!

Is 1978 close enough?

yes they do. fucking made in china a/c units just wont last, this old fucker.... 30 years old and frigid cold. a bit power hungry but thats what long cords and the neighbors power plug are for! apartment living...

...

...

Boy, what the fuck is wrong with you? I called you boy because you obviously are a nigger.

This one always kills me.

Or you just write on a $0.25 clear sheet with a grease pen and project on the wall instead of having to write on the board, and erase the sheet with a spray bottle and paper towel you dumb faggot, try to catch up with the tech we had back in the 80's.

I've always loved that style of dash meters

Had this when I was young. 1987 LeBaron Turbo GTC. I got it used in'89

Typing on one now:

Hey 007 what car was that dash board in?

adjusting that for inflation its amazing. now a tablet is 50 bucks and you can do so much more with it. and money is worth LESS

guessing caddy

New Yorker/ 5th ave

Probably a Cadillac Seville

in the early era of US expansion a 6 pack of beer would have net you a good sum. Not the liquid mind you but the cans

THE TOP DIAL HAD 12 CHANNELS YOU COULD SELECT, PLUS "U" THEN IF YOU PUT IT ON "U" YOU COULD USE THE BOTTOM DIAL TO SELECT 30 MORE

>implying you didn't lose the knobs a long time ago and had to use a pair of vice grips or just watch 1 channel all year. Ur so hip gramps

007 here, it was Cadillac Sedan Deville from the 80s
