Why not put a moat on the Mexican side of the wall?
That way they would have to swim to the wall, scale the barbed wire while climbing the flat-edged 50ft wall, all while not getting shot by border security, followed immediately by having to drop the 50ft to the ground.
Maybe after that put one more trench on the US side just for good measure. If its really deep then when they try to dig their tunnels under the wall they will not only have to cut through reinforced steel columns running 100ft under the wall but they will eventually hit the water and flood the tunnel, drowning them all and alerting border security of their intentions.
If the wetbacks can cross that they are a true American Ninja Warrior and probably deserve to be let in.

Because it would cost shitloads of cash to get build, be a complete nightmare to maintain and overall not worth it.
