It's getting more and more apparent that at the current rate of technological progress, artificial intelligence will eventually supercede the human species.
Being alive in such an important time for mankind is thought provoking. This is a toast to life during one of humanity's final chapters.

Arms Dealer-MANNY, THA WHITE
>industrial hip hop, electronic, footwork, techno, remixes of trap bangers
New Arms Dealer release. First track is 3 consecutive remixes of Bobby Shmurda's Hot Boy, Princess Loko's verse on Tommy Wright III's Still Pimpin, and A$AP Ferg's Work (Remix).
Second song is a dance track sampling French Montana's verse on A$AP Ferg's East Coast Remix.
Third track is done in the theme of Gucci Mane's First Day Out with ambient-esque synths and choir voices.
I'll be keeping an eye out for the peeps postin' their work in this thread. Have a good Friday night.

I prefer your vgm projects to the lofi, if the mix was a bit tighter they'd sound awesome.
Some cool sounds but feels a bit lackluster otherwise
Your composition is a lot stronger than youre voice, your voice isnt necessarily bad but it detracts from the rest of the piece. If you sung with a bit more confidence/worked the levels a bit better it could sound pretty could.
All just my 2 cents
hey, thanks man i appreciate the honest feedback

Already gave my thoughts on this the other day, think it's solid math-rock, but needs some more work.
Really like the bassline, and the sampling is nice, noticing a Kanye influence, but I could be wrong on that one. My only issue (which I keep saying a lot in these threads) is that it's not really a fully developed song, it's nice for what it is, it really is, but it needs variety, and leaving 1:30 minute ideas won't leave too much of an impression, unless you're going for that.
It has the potential to be a catchy song, but the vocals need work, and I'd also suggest if you worked a bit more on the arrangements, doesn't have to be anything spectacular, but it could sound more full.
Another thing that kinda doesn't stick are the drums. In my opinion, either go full authentic drums, or use the synthetic tone more, because this is somewhere in the middle and it doesn't really sound all too pleasant, it kills it for me at least.

Send Me on My Merry Way is pretty nice overall. Love the bass work and and of course the twang. The surfrock/metal mix is definitely something you should explore more.
But production and mixing need some work in my opinion.
Love the way it is mixed and produced - sounds super oldschool. The playful bass is another good part. But, in total the record gets pretty boring - although the noisy-parts at the end of the record spice things up

What would you say the average amount of plays would be for a song that was released roughly two weeks ago? It's my first release and I think it is doing quite well but I have nothing to compare it to stat wise. Any help would be appreciated.
which is your song?
Here's a video of my playing electric guitar for the first time. Any tips?
have fun
Honestly I haven't posted it in one of these threads, and I'm a little hesitant to. Just from observation the less associated I am with this website as an artist the better, even if you all are mostly well intentioned in these threads. I'm just looking for a little information on statistic averages which might help me plan my next move.
I see, I'm here to promote small artists
these guys xD, they always do interesting things
Well actually this would be my first release, I just want to know if I'm above or below average in terms of play count. It's currently sitting at 96 plays, with a ratio of 43 complete and partial plays, 10 skips. Do you think this is average for a song that has been out two days shy of two weeks?
Thank guys for your comments. I value him.
Pretty low, IMO. My first song was a cover of a small time band and it's over 300 plays. Was at around 250 views after two weeks.
Ok, that's good to know. Considering I only shared my song with like 10-15 people personally, don't play live, do no advertising and have like zero connections to any other musicians I don't think I'm doing overly bad. I only put my song on Bandcamp as well. Thanks again for your input, it helps a lot.
Yea no problem. I posted a link to my song on here, from bandcamp. Nobody personally, as I have no friends, but I reckon quite a few people ended up clicking it through that. You are doing fine if you didn't post it to a big audience.
You don’t do AdWords? Bro everyone does AdWords go get an AdWords account ;)
I shared it on Facebook for the first time today, which honestly did boost my plays quite a bit. But for the most part it's been a very small audience. I like to think that the ratio of complete as opposed to partial/skipped plays is more important than the overall total. Like the culture of bandcamp kind of encourages skipping through songs that you don't particularly care for on first listen, so having lots of complete plays is more important than just having lots of plays period; it means people are enjoying your stuff, and word gets around. I might be wrong and I don't have much credit in the music scene but I feel like this is just sort of the natural order.
No thanks, Google.
