My logic is absolute. Would you like to know why? Because the black family did not fracture throughout slavery, or even after it. Take a look at the black familys income increases during the 1930s. Dude, I live in Appalachia, we have less opportunities than any inner city black. A black person living in the city has plenty of jobs to apply to around them. In Appalachia, we have nothing, there are a few good jobs, some fast food and Wal-Mart jobs...and nothing else. Poor rural people of any color have it harder than any inner-city black.

What I do know is growing up dirt poor, having my mom make my clothes, getting made fun of a school because of it. I know having to drop out of school to get a job to help my family. I know getting up at 5 a.m and working a coal mine til 5 p.m. I know spending my free time selling firewood and fixing cars for extra money. I know using that money to get my g.e.d and put myself through trade school. I know starting as HVAC tech working tons of overtime and barely scraping by. I know working my way up to service manager.
