i read in a book, i don't remeber the author, that germans always felt "inferior" compared to english people. they considered english "free people" and basically envied them because of this, and actually germany before poland invasion and WWII was in good relations with england. they also considered english like "cousins"

i am curious, how germans people feel about italians?
i still don't understand you feeling toward us. i have the feeling that you find us funny, love our country's natural beauty (alps, lakes in northern italy, italian seas) because there are place filled just with german tourist (on garda's lake, for example, when you take a walk across the towns and on the shores you only find germans and maybe just some english), but on the other hand you're a bit sospicious about us, like you don't trust us.

I can't really agree. For the longest time, "Germany" was just different kingdoms and states fighting each other. Then once united, we were so big and powerful that we just did the same thing as other big countries - enhanced influence through wars and colonies. That's about the only time we felt "inferior", because we were late to the whole colony game. Then we were just too big to ignore and got unlucky with history - being drawn into a clusterfuck in WW1, and starting WW2 to escape the clusterfuck caused by Versailles, and now starting the whole "Sacrifice Europe" operation to escape the guilt from WW2.
The "proud, disciplined, strong-willed" meme comes from when we were very Prussian-influenced. Today's Germans are literally anything but proud, strong-willed or free. There's nothing left of that.
I think France fits your description a lot better - the whole inferiority to Germany, entering wars voluntarily out of delusions of grandeur to just get shit on, being repressed homosexuals, then getting cucked despite having no "historic guilt" as an excuse.
Just my opinion though.
As a nation, we kind of see you as a failed state, like a corrupt, weasly nation just trying to get by, always looking at the own advantage but without any vision or altruism; with a great history but not living up to any of it.

the point of the book i quoted before, again i can0t remember tha name, is that since the tribal system in germany during roman empire germans showed an aggressive and strong-willed attitude.
they were always a very belligerant population, fucking up roman empire, trying to get italy and middle europe during barbarossa's ruling, fucking up rome during protestant's reform, with the prussian's kaisers, causing two WW.
they feel the need to show the rest of the world that they are strong and basically the best, and everyrime they use a different pretext to do it.
religion, nationalism, expansions, genetical theory, everything it's a just a way to show us how great they are.
