>tfw you get BTFO so fucking hard in /nba/ that you begin considering participating in divegrass generals just to alleviate the pain

fuck i'm still mad

hop on 2k real quick

>when you make a post but a few seconds later do a cursory google search and realize you were completely wrong so you turn off your computer for a few hours and wait for it all to blow over

is it still bantz if someone is getting hurt by it?

>when nobody in divegrass threads cares about your weak memes and normie facebook jokes

You wouldn't fit in. Maybe try Reddit

>tfw someone tells you to kys

>tfw someone has beaten me into telling OP to kys

How do you get BTFO by the absolute worst general on this board?

>your monkey grunts get overshadowed by someone else's monkey noises that rhyme better

Why you racist though?

/nba/ is absolute shit, but larrold should still feel unwelcome anywhere

>How do you get BTFO by the absolute worst general on this board?

i want you to go to /hoc/ right now and scroll down and read just 5 random posts

The NBA has a parity problem.

1. These athletes need to be paid! 82 games is too much to have max contracts

2. Relegation would keep against unwarranted expansion & tanking

3. Why you gotta make this a racist thing?

/hoc/ is funny, /nba/ is unironically bad

I repeatedly get my ass handed to me on /hoc/.

WTF?

OK, so I'm constantly fishing for offers on Rask & Chara... someone will bite.

\hoc\ is great when it isn't overrun by trampa gay fans.

At least you can >rags post in /hoc/. /nba/ has literally 0 redeeming qualities.

>tfw you frequent bleddit's NBA board
>tfw you don't even like watching basketball until the playoffs and you hate the userbase there who are all a bunch of fucking wiggers who speak in slang and think they are literally the pinnacle of NBA discussion on the internet yet all they talk about are lavar ball and social media drama and memes
>tfw only reason im on there is because its the only sport on right now that i sometimes keep up with

is /nba/ similar?

>reddit poster
>apehoop fan
Laffing @u

Honkey?

Do you not have a boreball team you hold dear?

I defended Steph Curry and bashed Westbrook a little too much for /nba/'s liking

>tfw i have gotten like a dozen reddit account on sports reddits banned over the years because i "take trash talk too far"

yeah im white. my team is the A's. and i hate the warriors

kekd far too hard at this

The game is bastardized by the 3pter. Fuckers need to now hand check.

That said, Westbrook is a 2 guard & will be poison in the playoffs.

...

LOL THE A's

A literal toilet bowl of a ballpark

>support a team
>get insulted for it
>then people hate bandwagoners

I'm sorry. Sorry, user.

nah, that's when you batten down the hatches and go into full shitposting mode

>not just accepting that you got btfo and then embracing it and going on a shitposting rampage to make the thread as unpleasant as possible for everyone else
you havent been here long enough, you'll learn how to handle it eventually. whenever i make a retarded uninformed post about soccer and then get btfo by euros and third worlders i just spam the thread with black porn and pictures of disgusting food until everyone fucks off

>tfw bandwagon all the generals and blast your butts

>tfw i do this and then start feeling bad about the fact that im 22 and still shitposting on Sup Forums

Ive been here damn near 9 years. will i ever leave?

>make ridiculous reddit sports comment
>check back an hour later
>account has 10 notifications so like 10 people responded to my comment
>the suspense of if it went over well or poorly before clicking

The problem isn't so much still being here, as this place offers a form of entertainment and community that nothing else comes close to. The problem is still spending too much time here. If you're a miserable NEET who shitposts here 24/7 you need to chill out and do something more productive, but if you're a semi well adjusted member of society and you only come here for some memes every now and then it's okay.

>will i ever leave?
pic related

kys

>The problem is still spending too much time here. If you're a miserable NEET who shitposts here 24/7 you need to chill out and do something more productive

Don't say this. Last time we did something like that we accidentally an president.

>when you realize the post you made makes so sense but you already typed it out so you post it anyways to generate (you)s

One thing I've learned about talking sports online is that they can generally be ranked this way in terms of intelligence:

>baseball online fans: almost autistically right. a little too reliant on nu-stats

>football fans: overvalue star players, little to no knowledge of the sport outside of being a fan.

>NBA fans, especially Toronto fans: literally I wonder if they know the rules of basketball.

An example: I was hounded on here last year when some dumbshit on the Raptors got tossed for getting two T's. One for verbal abuse of the official, one for time wasting (rolling the ball in the opposite direction of the officials). Raptors fans seemed shocked that you could get T's for something other than mouthing off, shocked you could get two T's in a possession, and seemed not to know two T's meant ejection.

I dont know enough about soccer to know if their memeing hides a basic knowledge of the game.

>>baseball online fans: almost autistically right. a little too reliant on nu-stats
I've never been able to participate fully in baseball talk ever since i came to this country because it seems as though you need a math PhD to even maintain a conversation with stats autists.

>I dont know enough about soccer to know if their memeing hides a basic knowledge of the game.

As far as Sup Forums is concerned, there are only a small handful of users here(and im talking about both Euros and South Americans) who are actually soccer literate and the rest are no different from your description of football fans. They use extensive memeing and jargon spouting to try and veil just how little they know about all the technical aspects of the sport.

t. English immigrant.

I never do

>When that asshole who's literally objectively wrong and has no case continues to try argue his point and you just know he won't ever give up but live by he who gets the last response wins

>>NBA fans, especially Toronto fans: literally I wonder if they know the rules of basketball.

desu I don't like apehoop, I just like to rile y'all up

>when you get the last response and the thread dies so you end up lying in bed later not being able to sleep wondering if you really won if no one read your final post

True. Do something productive for yourself personally and not for the wider world of the political spectrum then.

i think the real thing to grasp here is that pretty much all sports fans are complete shit. it's why the popularity of these sprots shows where you listen to other morons give their moronic opinions always surprises me

>baseball online fans: almost autistically right. a little too reliant on nu-stats
this x1000.

its worse when the thread get deleted by the mod and it results in you never getting the reply

>When you're arguing but then other people join in and gang up on you putting you in a lose lose situation
>Even if you win with better points there are more people saying you're right than wrong
>impossible to gain face back

>when those fucking cunts know they are getting destroyed by facts and logic so they resort to HURR U MAD
>tfw this legitimately makes me fucking mad

>When you're arguing but then other people join in and gang up against you putting you in a lose lose situation
>Even if you win with better points there are more people saying you're wrong than right
>impossible to gain face back

maybe you're just wrong and too thick to realize why

Nah, can't always be the case and I know when I've been beaten in an argument desu. It's just that there are other like minded cunts who chip in with the cunt you're arguing with

What do the sandrunes say?

it's a drawing of an uncircumcised penis and balls

The thing about baseball is that with other sports you slowly get invested on it and become increasingly more autistic and knowledgeable about the game depending on how much you enjoy it, but with baseball having severe autism is literally a requirement to get started and be able to keep up. I love it, though.

/nba/ gets good once shit teams like the celtics and cloppers get eliminated from the playoffs

Name the shitposters that you hate on Sup Forums

>The doylefag from /mls/ who damage controls for mls players and constantly brings down our Europe based players is annoying to deal with in the USA national team threads

>some Iranian visa student in Rutgers tried to argue that his team of literally who shitters were better than the USA national team in some thread earlier today

>Denmark faggot in /bundes/

>Jewmaican in /arse/

>Anze in any /nfl/ thread

>Achilles in any thread

God, why does Sup Forums get the worst shitposters?

Fishhook + Moustache

its some kind of gay code i think

The word fail in transliterated in Arabic.
Don't ask me how I know

All the tripfags in /hoc/ need to die.

Sup Forums has the worst shitposters

>paying attention to shitposting autists and blogposters
Wew

>make a really unfunny, low effort post
>multiple canadians and Americans reply saying how funny I am

this, 100%

>tfw you fuck up but double down and revel in going full retard

You're Hilarious

>a bunch of proxies by one guy in oak park, california is making you leave the worst general

laff @ u

We only do that with australians you dumb LARPer

Without a doubt the worst poster on Sup Forums is the 24/7 spammer in /nba/. Without a doubt. That faggot literally killed our general singlehandedly. Before he become universally active in 2014 we would get 150+ posters per thread, now even during the peak of the basketball season we get less than 100 posters every time. He scared off a fucking third of our userbase.

This is why we need to get rid of generals. Less autists ruining the content for everyone when there isnt a main general.

/nba/ has gone to shit ever since the Memeiors became good and the bandwagon started.

keep /hoc/ tho. it's a bonafide autistic memefactory mess, and should be grandfathered in at least.

sports with a lower following (hockey, darts, rugby and cricket) should be allowed generals because their isn't much chance of discussion outside of their generals
NFL, basketball and football don't need generals because they have enough following to generate multiple discussion threads and gamethreads at once

>when you make a well thought out post and you don't get a single (You) out of it

>74953756

i kno m8 it hurts

@74953756

I fucking hate this feel as well.

>tfw you killed an entire general by shitposting

Kek this hits too close to home
