So

So.
Does anyone know of any anarchist communes in North America? Preferably one that is not filled with the annoying kind of hippies?

I'm expecting ridicule and to be called a faggot, so go for it. Hopefully some of you will be useful.

choose one.

Okay then, anarchist communities or groups if you will. Not the kind that blow up cars. Actual anarchists.

Just live a life of simplicity dood communes and anarchism are not compatible you could find a co-op i suppose but not a commune anarcho-communism is an oxymoron and simply dosent exist.

*attempt to live outside of the "white market and strcitly trade within the informal and black market as much as possible of course you cant always do so but try dont use statist services etc...

San Francisco has large community of Anarchists but you must prove yourself. Try the anarchist book convention that happens every year in GG Park

I'd join an ancap commune if I could. Unfortunately I doubt any are around.

The stupidity here.

Theres an Anarchist commune in VA. NatGeo did a bit on it. Dunno about linking up with them though

this anarcho capitalists dont have communes.agorism is prbly your best bet towards freedom anyway.

Anarcho-Communism has existed in practice before, so it obviously isn't an oxymoron. In fact, Anarcho-Communism predated Marxist-Leninism by several decades. (Classical Marxism isn't inherently authoritarian either.)

communism requires a state to achive theyre stateless society its an oxymoron if you advocate for syndicalism aswell since the state still exists except its run by unions.

Anarcho-Communism is basically just anarchy but without private property, including money. This doesn't include personal property, like houses or cats, but only includes property that can be used to place one person in authority over another (ie. factories, land, etc...)

> antifag detected.
all comunist societys result in authoritarian regimes since the state will never give up theyre power.

None of those states have been communist. For some reason, their parties tend to call themselves "communist parties", but actually advocate for a form of socialism.

But land doesn't nesecerillly hold authority over someone neither do factories nesecerilly if a business is made up of co-operatively working freelancers. also money is nesecery for fair trade because labor notes are one time use and no one can decide that value of something in bartering.

You realize stuff like Free Territory and other societies has never gone authoritarian? They've usually been crushed but the authoritarian "communists"

Also, the whole concept of a Revolutionary Vanguard is inherently authoritarian. Just leads to a new ruling class. The state must be torn down in a popular uprising instead.

fine socialism has never worked it just renames the bourgeoisie as governmental figures.socialism has only been used as a weapon of the rich to kill competition.

except free territory wasnt just communist and more of a awa territory but had an emphasis on an-com.

just be a ancap and call it a day m8

better yet agorist.

Money isn't necessary if people were to all pitch in, with the expectation that others would do the same.

Say Joe grows carrots, Bill fixes cars, and Steve builds houses. If Joe grows carrots and gives his carrots to Bill and Steve, he can expect to have a working car and a built house. If he doesn't give them carrots, neither Bill nor Steve will help him. There's the incentive to work.

but the problem with that system is, that people just dont wanna trade things to get things they want a currency exchange in return. People want a cost not just work and get stuff it doesnt add luxury that turns the system dull .

> taxes
taxes are authoritarian and involuntary and what if bill doesn't need carrots he can trade it ? seems lite it would be a bitch to carry around a bunch of carrots. and your assuming everyone will pitch in most would just abuse the system.

it also hinders choice what if steeve doesn't want any fucking carrots.

That's so retarrd. That system will need rules to prevent people from abusing others, then the rules will need to be enforced, and you can't "trade" enforcing rules, so you'll need to collect from everyone to pay people for creating and enforcing rules. Ta-da, it's a government. Stop being soooooo dumb.

Agorism is better since ikt allows people to work as freelancers and co-operatively in a stateless system if someone rips you off just go make a new hole in their head in self-defense.and taxeless tada!

Hi. I'm bill. I fix cars. I also grow carrots cuz fixing cars only takes up about 30% of my week. So anyone who grows carrots will need to let me fuck their wife if they want a working car. Oh you like driving? Fixing cars is a harder skill to learn than growing carrots? Sweet, I will abuse the system to get more out of desperate people and make myself and my friends more powerful. No one to stop us.

Then Joe will need to find someone else to build his house who does want carrots, or do it himself. He could move his carrots to a local market in the car that Bill fixed for him.

Taxes wouldn't be necessary if someone else voluntarily paved the roads and built hospitals. They would actually be pretty revered by others considering that they would be voluntarily doing jobs that no one else wanted to do.

Faggot

Congrats your an agorist.

If Bill demanded that people let him fuck their wives in exchange for car repair and carrots, only cucks would buy or sell with him. He would eventually be forced to change his conditions or gtfo.

So, anarchist communes/communities in North America?

What? Are you high? Why the fuck would he trade with a faggot farmer when he can fix cars AND farm? His skill is clearly worth more and he can demand whatever he wants.

>voluntarily paved the roads and built hospitals.

You are too much user. Grow the fuck up. Try living in the world we ACTUALLY live in and stop daydreaming about fictional impossibilities.

Please watch this. It's important.

> ... They would actually be pretty revered by others considering that they would be voluntarily doing jobs that no one else wanted to do

we would need these services, so someone would eventually stand up to do them. if people get sick of their local hospital being a dump, they can group together and fix it

Yep. Just like Mexicans now. I'd think they were dumb fucks doing skilled labor for nothing. And there will always be people like me. Your system will never work.

If you are near Ohio I would check out yellow spring ohio. The town is mostly hippie dippie shits but the college in that town is one of most hardcore anarchist groups I have ever run with.

You can also try the Arizona/New Mexico dessert, I used to be a part of a roaming commune there, but most of the people in it broke up. Still we were there because it was easy to avoid cops out there so I am sure some one is still out there, fighting the good fight. but that isn't a whole lot of helpful because i just recommended you two whole states

fayetteville arkansas, last time I was there (which was maybe a year or two ago) there were a couple of communes, none that were super interesting to me but one of those might be your thing

Oh and if you are in canada I knew a guy who used to live near North Knife Lake in Manitoba whose house was effectively a commune. He was technically the leader but he would only do anything if some one was being shitty and needed to be kicked out, but even then normally we just handled it ourselves

Never saw the appeal of Anarchism. The trouble is that a governing state can enforce and protect a society from the folly and wantonness of humanity better than a bunch of neighbors. Anarchist-Syndicalists have yet to do anything, Anarchist-Commies failed miserably, (no you idiots, Marxist theory is not Authoritarian regardless of results) and we all better tell Ancaps to fuck off and stay off.

That could be worth looking into. I'm from BC, and I know of a number of communes out here, but they're mostly just drugged-up hippies

Do you know of any others in Can or the northern US?
