You don't, unless you're using Wine, which won't even kill your installation. The closest thing is to just remove everything inside the root directory.

It’s actually a hardware issue, open hard drive after OS has already booted, find the platters and a sharp object(sharp enough to scratch the platters). To each platter scratch the object in a circular motion three to four times just to be sure, plug it back in reboot and it works
