Let's post Christian music! Any genre is welcome. Music with a Christian undertone or simply made by a self-proclaimed Christian is acceptable as well. :^)

OP here. I'll just keep posting, I guess.

Thanks for posting this, user. I've been meaning to find more extreme forms of (rock) music with Christian lyricism. I really like what ya posted. If you have any more Progressive/Death Metal recs, feel free to post more.
I like Julien Baker's music, has that raw sound especially in the song you posted. I don't like that she's gay, so I don't listen or support her.

I'll post some less Sup Forums-approved material this time.

I don't subscribe to the more liberal, "hypergrace" brand of Christianity out there, but still, come on, user, that's trivial. It's not like she makes Queercore Punk or something of that nature.
It amazes me that humans are so incapable of accepting how shit earth really is that they feel the need to imagine an afterlife where everything is great and unlike the reality they live in.
Still love Hayley though
hate the sin not the sinner
shallow understanding of religion
I feel like Dedalus at the monastery in this thread. This is pretty bad...

I get it. I just don't think it's right to normalize something that scripture teaches is wrong. That's my conscious. Objectively she does have good music.
I've never listened to her music but I do know that we are all sinners and have our own stuggles/problems so to single out one sin is a little pointless.
she cute
Here's some Christian Alternative Rock with an Art Rock and/or Chamber Pop influence:

Huh, interesting. I'll definitely check out the whole album. Thanks, user.
>I just don't think it's right to normalize something that scripture teaches is wrong
Yup, I agree. That's perfectly reasonable. But, in this case, how does supporting her work exactly further the normalization of homosexuality?
Kek, it's hard to take "Ultralight Beam" seriously in this thread, because all I think of is the following track with "NOW IF I". Anyways, it is unfortunate nearly all Christian hip-hop I've heard is abysmal. I love the fact that Chance made this though.

I'm only familiar with Hildegard von Bingen, so thanks for all the links.
do you think jesus would be posting on Sup Forums?

I'm a Christian but I don't listen to much Christian music.
Switchfoot is really good. Vice Verses gets better every time I listen to it. The Beautiful Letdown and Hello Hurricane are also really good.
Relient K's album last year (Air for Free) had a lot of potential but ultimately suffered in its release imo. It should have been shorter, and Runnin' should definitely have been the last song, not third last. The rest of their stuff is lots of fun.
I guess Skillet still exists? Haven't listened to them in ages
>Jesus loves me this I know
not a big fan of christian music but Strongarm were fucking great hardcore. Way ahead of their time for 1997 too.
Does this count?
