ITT: God or Top-tier games on steam
I am trying to quit drinking (9 days in) and need the distraction
>inb4 fallout 4, civ 6, doom, or GTA, already played them a fuckton
>inb4 the new Wolfenstein, I hear it's gay

Deus ex?
Divinity: Original sin 2
Lots of hours of distraction
Witcher 3 with all DLC
Skyrim should distract you for an easy 100+ hours.
Do you like fighting or shooting games? I loved both For Honor and The Division. If you like RTS I really enjoyed Hearts of Iron 4 and Rome Total War 2 (almost 1000 hours into RTW2 actually)
Forgot to add Assassins Creed Black Flag too. Something about sailing around singing shanty's is soo addicting
S.T.A.L.K.E.R
Natural Selection 2
Rising Storm 2
Tower Unite (early access)
Garry's Mod
Rust
CSGO
Chivalry
Pirates Vikings and Knights II
Zombie panic
I adored STALKER for a long time, but you do have to admit, its fairly dated now. Even with respacks and the highest video settings, parts of it look like DOOM splashed with mud
yeah it is, sign of the times is that it runs better using my laptops intel onboard graphics than it does on the GTX860M.
I love the atmosphere though. What about Metro 2033/Last Light? bit more up to date.
chivalry medieval warfare
I actually have the double pack, still sealed, in my closet at home. I got it for my birthday a couple months ago when I was addicted to For Honor and for some reason never tried it after For Honor got old for me. I actually should open it and try it out one of these days
the steam copy is too buggy
rollercoaster tycoon 2 deluxe edition
Is that normal BTW? I got Fallout 1 free on Steam a few weeks ago and nothing I do can make it launch. I get to the splash screen before it just freezes and repeats the same 5 second midi sounds.
You would think for a game Steam is selling, it would be usable on a modern computer
I like rtw2 a lot too, does hearts of iron 4 have rts battles as well or only on strategic map question mark my keyboard is acting weird sorry
NS2 and RS2, especially, if you like strategic or FPS games (if you aren't into strategy, still good, as only need so much people on a team who worry about that).
play Team Fortress 2 until you can own all the noobs
beat Wasteland 2
make it through Faster Than Light with every ship on hard (or ANY ship)
beat every map on Plants vs Zombies
Xcom enemy unknowm in iron man mode
fallout one for me works. but i got a net computer since them so idk
Fuck that lore-shitting piece of cunt game, Tolkien's rolling in his grave so fast that it might catch fire.
Factorio, or stardew valley.
Trust me.
doki doki lit club
Cuphead.
I own both of the Metros (Remastered Editions) couldn't recommend them enough. Very awesome games.
>Fallout new vegas with or without mods
>NEO scavenger, a nice turn based survival game that is brutal.
>mount&blade warband, this shit you can easily dumb 1k hours and still find new stuff
>civilization V (with all dlcs) is one of the best turnbased strategy games
>Age of empires 3, best relax rts
>doorkickers, you control a swat team from bird perspective
>terraria, a rpg 2d minecraft that has more content than minecraft
>Hearts of Iron 4 or Europa universalis 4, both are masterpieces, (strategy)
>final fantasy x-2 hd remaster best jrpg
>company of heroes, best ww2 rts
>tropico 5, a fun simcity clone but you are a dictator
>E.Y.E divine cybermancy, weird source engine game that has cool combat and good ai. (rpg with warhammer 40k inspired)
>splinter cell blacklist
>this war of mine (war survirors)
played all these lol
Arma 3, start playing altis life.
You'll love it
I don't see Rimworld on there...
>rust
my man
>this?
this
rimworld is shit
OP here rimworld is amazing, trying to find more like it. Recently put over 100k hours on it
is rust actually any good?
you're a tard
Rust is somewhat harder to get into nowadays due to the community has the Kill on Sight mentality, learning the game will be hard, but having friends in the game makes everything fun
>273 years
>even the combined playtime is not that much
Undertale
Start playin a real game for real men :P
what is altis life?
Binding of Isaac Rebirth.
OP here doorkickers actually looks pretty good... can anyone else confirm this?
"Hurr durr Fallout NV is great cause its #deep" Guess what Obsidifans If I wanted to read 8 paragraphs of character dialogue I'd just read a book. THESE ARE GAMES and thats why I want to fuckin wreck radscorpions and super mutants not discuss political garbage with some bald dude for 40 mins. And guess what? A lot of Mod makers work hard on their products, Applause to Bethesda for giving them a chance to make revenue. If you don't like it, just don't buy it. Jeeze.
Total war warhammer 1 or 2
Just play path of exile, a great grinding game, and really addicting. I got cravings all the time when im at work etc. Plus they launch new leagues every 3 months or so. Try it out!
kek I meant 100 idk why I added "k"
Which is better, company of heroes or hearts of iron?
Coh Epic. CoH 2. Pay to win
Faster Than Light
Defcon
fuck really?
I'm down to CoH2 and Doorkickerz
DayZ
Start speedrunning some game
So glitchy and little is done to polish it; yet so much money made from pre orders.
This is the story of Dayz AND ARK. Don't fall for it.
also wondering...
Battlefield 1and playerunkown Battlegrounds are the shit. Heaps of New dlc for bf1 and full game pubg is dropping soon.
Civ 3 kept me busy for 1200+ hours.
I got Deus ex and it was unplayable buggy.
If i got flashed my pistol wouldn't work.
If i walked in a room by a door everyone is cool
But the same room, same time, by a window and everyone starts shooting.
Bad guys would ignore me 100% of the time in some areas, hostiles, not people i hadn't pissed off yet.
just finished deus ex MD and it was great, you must just suck
Anyone have any input on ARK?
It was on sale for $30 on steam but the reviews are polar mixed.
> Also, gotta add Bio shock 2, one of my fav single player FPS, bio shock 1 is also good, if you're one of those people that have to play games in order.
> Bio shock 2, remastered or not.
>In game bugs
>you suck
>ishygdtt
I'm pretty sure that game is tough to run
Shadow of war is fun but I didn't play act 4, fuck that grind fest
sword art online

...
is steel division normandy any good?
Dishonored, I think the first game is better but the 2nd one is pretty good too.
Try to go for non-lethal its imo the most rewarding experience.
logs
andy sixx's log of shit?
can someone plz get me shower with your dad simulator its 1 dollar
...
These are all on Steam.
Autobukkake Simulator 08
morrowind
I would add Terraria to this list too. Plus if you get bored of vanilla, Factorio and Terreria are modable.
Fallout: New Vegas. I've wasted my life playing that game.
If you cant afford a dollar, kys
thanks for your suggestions but I've played the fuck out of both
any behemoth game
The forest
think i was looking at this on steam last night
did think about it but the reviews say it's as buggy as fuck
OP here I'm going to kms if a good game is not chosen
dying light is pretty good if you're into that zombie apocalypse type game
btw, in the same boat as you when it comes to trying to cut my drinking down. watching tv just makes me drink more, i need something that keeps my hands moving and mah brain thinking about things other than "have another drink"
zombies anything puts me to sleep but thanks for the suggestion
Good luck with the drinking. Everyone's different, for me "cutting down" just never works, I'm quitting for good. Difficult in the evenings but it's so fucking nice not waking up hungover every day and just feeling less fucked in general. Definitely recommend it
Hit esc as it is loading, old games mess up like that and sometimes you need to do this to get them to work
hoi4 just for kaiserreich mod
shogun 2
medieval 2
napoleon
sorry i only really play strategy on pc
OP here
I went with Company of Heroes 1
thanks, great job
