Federer vs. Serena

how competitive would this match be?

6-0, 6-0, 6-0

are you saying Federer would destroy her in a match?

It would just be 6-0, 6-0.

Any male player in the top 40 would destroy her in a match

True

This

Close, competitive game. Serena would lose but not before taking a set. 6-3 4-6 6-3 Fed

this is more likely only because (((tennis))) would mandate that fed give her a set

yeah, something like this.

serena has a powerful serve, she'd get a lot of free points of it, returning isnt federers strong
suit.

i think Fed wins 6-7 7-5 6-4

why do we have threads about this shit all the time
are you really so insecure and small-dicked you need an echo chamber to remind you that yes, men are better at sports than women?

This is really shit bait, get bent

and yet you replied to it

And yet he got you worked up enough to reply

A

who the fuck are you talking to you little cunt?

what does a little shit tier country like Canada know about tennis anyway? you've literally never won a grand slam. Get the fuck outta here son

If Federer plays with his right arm tied to his back, hopping on one leg, carrying his four kids on a piggyride, and with an eyepatch; I can see Serena winning five games.

6-3 6-2 6-0

Serena couldn't beat anyone in the Men's top 200 let alone Federer

what a troll thread

this

Karsten Braasch

it is bait

Isn't well known that she played against some washed up guy that barely cracked the top 200 and got beaten by him 6-1 6-0? How you guys are even entertaining the possibility of Serena against Federer?

Top 200 might be generous even. Murray has answered this question in one occasion saying anyone from the top 1000 would likely beat Serena.

Any male player in the top 400 would destroy her in a match.

To be fair, she had just turned pro and was like 17. But also, this dude was infamous for being a heavy drinker and even smoking during changeovers. Serena and Venus each played 1 set against him and lost easily

>Any male player in the top 200 would destroy her in a match

fixed it for you

uh, no:

1998: Karsten Braasch vs. the Williams sisters[edit]
Another event dubbed a "Battle of the Sexes" took place during the 1998 Australian Open[32] between Karsten Braasch and the Williams sisters. Venus and Serena Williams, aged 17 and 16 respectively, had claimed that they could beat any male player ranked outside the world's top 200, so Braasch, then ranked 203rd, challenged them both. Braasch was described by one journalist as "a man whose training regime centered around a pack of cigarettes and more than a couple bottles of ice cold lager".[33][34] The matches took place on court number 12 in Melbourne Park,[35] after Braasch had finished a round of golf and two beers. He first took on Serena and after leading 5–0, beat her 6–1. Venus then walked on court and again Braasch was victorious, this time winning 6–2.[36] Braasch said afterwards, "500 and above, no chance". He added that he had played like someone ranked 600th in order to keep the game "fun".[37] Braasch said the big difference was that men can chase down shots much easier, and that men put spin on the ball that the women can't handle. The Williams sisters adjusted their claim to beating men outside the top 350. ---- Wikipedia

>get rekt by an alcoholic mess ranked 203
>only lower your claim by 150 spots

What a couple of arrogant cunts

I'm a casual tennis player with an 11 utr rating. (Universal tennis rating) the top 100 men are rated 16. The 100-200 are 15. Serena isn't even a 13 rating.
She would get blown out by the top 1000 men in the world. Even the top 15 year old boys in the world would kill her in a match

Sports are truly the great un-equalizer

it shows how silly "the sexes are the same" argument is.

Serena is a physical freak of nature and the most dominant women's tennis player EVER and she couldn't hold a candle to unranked high-school men's players.

Do you think Fed could beat Serena if he had an arm tied behind his back?

I knew this 1 armed tennis player who was still able to toss the ball for his serve. If they gave Fed a week to practice that motion, he'd beat Serena 6-0. Otherwise, it is really awkward to try to serve 1 handed.

>returning isnt federers strong
suit.
This is really fucking retarded and its quite annoying. Rogers return of serve and serve for some reason are severely overlooked and underrated.

All it takes is to fucking watch some matches from this year not even counting his entire career to see how good his return of serve is

I agree. He has one of the best 1st serve(the harder serve) returns out there. I think because of the feel he has around the court. His second serve return isn't as good as say djokovic's though.

do you guys realise that there is a multitude of stats available at your fingertips that prove you wrong?

federer isn't top 10 for any statistic that is measured on return of serve.

there are 14 active players ahead of him on the all-time first serve return points won % stat.
