Well, we had an presidential election with two equally objectionable candidates. Much mud was slung by...well, by everyone who still cares about these things.
There was behind-the scenes fuckery on both sides, the supporters of each candidate acted like insufferable asshats, and then, when most of the bitching and catcalling was over, people went to the polls in record low numbers.
One of the objectionable candidates won, the other lost. These things do work that way, after all. All of the name-calling, fuckery and accusations have continued, though. And no one knows when, if ever, it will stop.

1. She had baggage with Bill Clinton.
2. She had a lot of baggage with her organization
3. The Benghazi scandal.
4. She's a woman, and America is still not entire ready for that.
5. She's pro-establishment and people are sick of pro-establishment candidates. Even though Trump would be more pro-establishment, he would bring down the government with his bumbling hands faster than Hillary ever could.
6. Roger Moore's stupid movie about the presidency where he gave a 10 minute speech praising Trump and then as a pun only negated it with a one liner at the end. He should have known that the Republicans would take that speech, cut off the end, then then air it like Roger Moore is supporting Trump. Because they did that and it worked.
7. On the day of the election, all the pools said that Hillary would win by a huge margin, which caused people not to go out into the freezing cold and vote.
