Music has been on a steady decline ever since PC culture came in place. Now people think they have to praise shitty rappers like in the OP image so they can feel like they're not racist.

RYM is not a good way to observe this trend, you have to take into consideration when RYM first started, the majority age group of people that rate albums on there, the way in which people compare and rate albums, how many people rated each of the albums on that list and if there is a trend to find within that and so on and so on.
