I got right into Kenyan street music for a bit after having to source music for a film I was editing.
Sad thing was, one of the guys who contributed music was stabbed one night and I only found out when his people sent all his money back saying there was no-one to give it to now he was gone.
Destroyed me as he was now dead but also that they never just kept the cash as I was led to believe everyone in Africa was a thief
