Question for those born in 1997: did you grow up moreso with Millennial shows like "Samurai Jack", "Yu Yu Hakusho", "Malcolm in the Middle", "American Dragon Jake Long", "Dave the Barbarian", "Rocket Power", "Invader Zim", "The Weekenders", and "Recess"?
Or Gen Z shows like "Hannah Montana", "Phineas and Ferb", "iCarly", "Chowder", "Total Drama Island", and "Flapjack'?
I don't know what any of those are but they sound made up
Thomas Howard
Grew up with shit like hey Arnold, Recess, Rocket Power but also shit like Hannah Montana. It was a mix. The best of course was Avatar, the GOAT cartoon.
Kevin Hughes
I was born 15th January, year of Lord 1997.
> "Samurai Jack", dont know what it is
>Yu Yu Hakusho some anime, didnt watch

why do Americans only repost reddit-tier garbage?
I've seen this thread several times now and it's always an American who makes it.
Justin Brooks
Why would you ask this on Sup Forums. It's only american programs, why not ask on Sup Forums or Sup Forums
Isaiah Martinez
Underage garbage, all of it. Real pros grew up with Duck Tales, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, hand drawn Simpsons and Dragon Ball without any stupid letters.

>Recess Good times, now i'm going to download it
Ryan Sanders
I grew up with Flintstones, Tom and Jerry, and Looney Tunes desu

I've noticed an odd phenomenon with people around my age(22). It seems like anything that debuted in the 2005-2006 school year was the last to have an impact on our childhoods, while anything that debuted after that school year had little to no effect to people my ages' childhoods what so ever.
For instance. Most people my graduating class(2014) relate to Avatar the last airbender, American dragon jake long, and Ben 10 with their childhoods. But shows like Naked Brother Band, iCarly, and Back at the Barnyard, which came out just a year and a half later, people my age see as 'garbage' or something that was not for our generation.

Born in 1993 here. My personal TV memories:
- Pokemon - Recess - Malcolm In The Middle - Arthur - The Smurfs - Looney Toons & Taz-Mania - Wacky Races - Hey Arnold - Scooby Doo - Count Duckula - Rugrats - The Magic School Bus - Doug - Winnie The Pooh - Johnny Bravo - Danger Mouse - Spongebob - Rockos Modern Life - CatDog - The Fairly Odd Parents - Legends of The Hidden Temple - Yogi Bear - The Flinstones - Garfield - The Simpsons - The Jetsons - Jimmy Neutron - The Angry Beavers - The Wild Thornberrys
God I must have watched a lot of TV
Noah Reed
Avatar was way too late. Jimmy Neutron, Spongebob and Yu gi Oh were probably the last of the American kids shows I watched.
1998 here, and I grew up with option A and experienced B (which was shit compared to A).
Parker Campbell
The millennial shows, but thats because all those shows were aired in Europe later than they were in America.
Levi Lee
are you me? i litterally watched all of these shows and was born 1992.
also, a few 'local' shows that recently exported like oggy and the cockroaches.
Jace Gomez
I was born in 97. We didn't really have any of that in China. Though did get some stuff like Pinky and the Brain, which was very good.
Lucas Long
You say you're Chinese but your flag is Aussie. Are you lying or are you on a proxy.
Camden Murphy
Born in China but moved when I was 16

1992, more or less these.
Also The Tick, Biker Mice from Mars, Life with Louie. Plus some Eastern Bloc classics like Krtek. I have absolutely zero idea about the stuff in the OP or most other posts, other than popular rule 34 victims like Avatar.
Elijah Harris
>did you grow up moreso with Millennial shows like... I watched almost all of those you mentioned in this category
Ryder Turner
it's because american's have the mentality of a child it would be depressing if it weren't so infuriating
James Diaz
please tell your people to stop moving to rural towns
Jayden Clark
I saw millenial ones, but I spent a lot more time on Nickelodeon. I also remember watching 70s and 80s shows from Boomerang when I was like 6 or 5.

You made the same thread on several other boards. What is your motive?
Hudson Taylor
what made you think "i'll ask this group of people from different countries if they had a typical american childhood"? they obviously fucking didn't. this also isn't Sup Forums related
Christopher Brown

I will have to concur here

Most Chinese flock to Sydney and Melbourne because it's the only cities we know. I badly want to live in Kiama though instead of Sydney where I'm at now.

Former ones. Latter ones I was already too old to be watching seriously, Chowder and Phineas and Ferb specifically I loath.
Dominic Price
