Kings quest.

I think you have to write your own for that machine

Love the art, certainly will track down a copy of it.

Ultima IV, V, and VI
F-117A Nighthawk
Castles & Castles II
Loom
Prince of Persia

>F-117A Nighthawk
My fucking jam.

Also, battle chess. It's a classic.

Why would you do that?

Doom II

>if you have enough ram

go to sleep LGR guy

Was just about to post same.

Dude F117A! Fucking game of the gods. Can't tell how much Mountain Dew I drank while bombing over Libya.

Treasure Mountain!

Multimedia Celebrity Poker for the Jonathan Frakes crazy faces and shitty Joe Piscopo jokes

Battletech: crescent hawks inception
Mechwarrior
NOT battletech: crescent hawks revenge. It was shit.

I landed on a carrier once with realistic landings and the Lockheed plane setting. Packed it up and never looked back. There's no going up from there.

I think I played loom when I was really young; will certainly have to try when I get more ram for the system.
2MB right now, already have an expansion card in the mail to bring it to 10mb.

System came into work to be trashed, I brought it back to life.

Aces of Europe
Aces over the Pacific
Doom
Wolf3d
Blake stone
Commander Keen

Actually I'm not sure if a 386 can run those games. Just use dosbox faggot.

Get Monster Bash that shit is amazing

And the predecessor, F-19.

Must play catacomb the abyss.

>Commander Keen

Right in my fucking childhood...

386 can do wolf, keen, and maybe doom at small screen size.

Also, dosbox doesn't emulate sound very well.

fucking homebrew that wii u and get some modern games

>catacomb the abyss.
keen4 feels so good to play again. Pretty sure it was the first game I ever played.

Already home brewed. Best $150 I ever spent.

I think it had problems with clock speed too? Last time I tried to play some old games shit was fast as fuck and there was no fix. It was a long time ago tho, may have been fixed.

dosbox i think has a clock speed controller to fix those sorts of issues, but I've never run into them when using it so I never looked.

Doom on a 386 will not play well. It takes A LOT of tweaking of the config.sys settings to get it to run well enough on a 486dx (math co-processor).

Oregon Trail was out at this time, but Bard's Tale is probably one of the better games you could play.

Star wars x wing

Treasure fucking Mountain...

Robocop

Zork

Doom

Omfg...I completely forgot about this thank you

Are you looking for a legitimate 80s/90s feel? Why not just dosbox?

burn in a fire

Leisure Suit Larry

Damn, I loved that game and I had forgotten all about it.

>ctrl-f
>no Oregon Trail

BOWEP

You'll thank me later.

>Leisure Suit Larry
Dosbox emulates sound poorly; sounds nothing like actual sb16 hardware.

>Oregon Trail
Isn't the kind of game that requires an old machine. It's like Doom. You can play it on almost anything.

Hugo's house of horrors, and no cheating at the end, also police quest, lol just try and drive down that pixelated highway ;D

Castle of the winds
Command and Conquer - Tiberian Dawn
Raptor
Keeping up with the Joneses

pic related

Krypton egg (486 ?)

>Scorched Earth

Strike Commander, Apache Longbow, Wing Commander, all the Lucas Arts games and Bullfrog games so many good games...

Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure

What does that green number (36) stand for/mean?

That's the processor speed, and it's currently set to 16mhz. The camera made it look more lit up.

Duke Nukem for sure

Nethack
Ween: The Prophesy

Warcraft: Orcs & Humans

If you have to ask why, you'll never understand

Wolfenstein

MAX: Mechanized Assault & Exploration

Still the best turn-based strategy game to this date.

Gambit

Indiana Jones and the Last crusade
Doom
Sim City

Dopewars

>serial link to another machine
>open terminal

Linux

Myst

>
what distro would run on a 386 and 2MB of ram?

Don't forget your screensaver. Does anyone remember Johnny Castaway?

Why not 486? Infinitely more powerful for the best games of the DOS era.

itsfoss.com/lightweight-linux-beginners/

dsl

You are making me nostalgic. My first pc was a used from work 486 running win 3.1 with a 28 k modem. Had a lot of fun playing winroids and duke nuke version 1 and getting on the internet for the first time.

Treasure cove
Putt putt
Xwing
Xwing vs tie fighter
Mine sweeper
Skiifree
Chips

Sadly DLS requires a 486 and 16MB of ram. I can do the ram, but not the 486.

"Run light enough to power a 486DX with 16MB of Ram"

Chips fucking challenge

tiny core?

Tie Fighter collector's edition is best of the X Wing series.

Wing commander
Space / police/ kings quest
Incredible machine
Darklands
Elvira
Eye of the beholder
Ultima series
Leisure suit Larry
Code name ice man
Man hunter

There's probably more

archive.org/details/softwarelibrary_msdos_games

Play DOS games online free

What what

I also remember a cool Conan game

day of the tenacle was a good game. but you may need a 486 for that.
