- Basketball is played in several other countries, but at a level that is lower than the NCAA.
- Baseball is played, at a serious level, in a handful of countries. All of them except for the USA, tiny - except Japan, where most of the people are tiny.
- Objectively, the best hockey team is the Montreal Canadiens.
- You win the (summer) Olympics, for sure.
What you're missing are the big sports: soccer and cricket, even rugby.
I don't shit about rugby and cricket, but I do know that the USA is going to appear in the World Cup quarter finals within the next 3 or 4 WC's, and the USA will win sooner than later. And then win again, and again, and in 100 years the USA will have won more WC's than any country.
