We Elysium Now

The rich now have the cure for cancer, and will soon literally (perhaps as soon as next year) have access to immortality. None of this is available to even the middle class. Keytruda, the drug that Jimmy Carter used, costs around $150,000 a year - significantly more than most American citizens make. and no insurance does or will cover TERT therapy - it’s completely out of pocket.

Soon we will quite literally have the eternal jew. Now remember, goyim, there's nothing you can do. They "earned" their wealth fair and square and if they want to become immortal gods and rule over the planet you have no right to tell them what to do with their money.

Good.
Let them go.
Eventually there won't be any immortals left to treat...then what?

>cure for cancer
shill man pls go you're bad at this

>cure for cancer
What? Immunotherapy is literally the cure for cancer.

>they want to become immortal gods and rule over the planet

Also, its a possible cure from natural death.
80 year old decrepit fucks get to stay alive.
Nothing was said about chopping their heads of and it will regenerate.

Cancer is an umbrella term for literally thousands of different diseases that have thousands of different causes

What exactly are you arguing? Immunotherapies have already been shown to be effective on an array of cancers from leukemia to brain cancer.

we're still young, by the time we'll get old they should share with us that cure and immortality pills r-right?

Immortality isn't invulnerability.

Sure. And some of us aren't so young. There are literally millions of people who will die waiting for these treatments. People with much greater minds and personalities than Paris Hilton or Michael Vick.

No, but it is immortality.

They'll still age, after a couple of decades they wouldn't be able to do anything without help

They're going to get old and die.

They think they won't.

They think they'll be the first generation to live forever.

But in the end, most people here will outlive them.

live forever

with zero side effects and downsides!

I'm starting to have serious doubts about how Capitalism is going to work for everyone past 2050. I'm sure that it can exist forever in some form or another but it's kinda likely that we'll end up with something like elysium, either on earth or in some huge satellite.

.. tl;dr: holy fuck I think I'm a socialist..

No, they expect you to die.

Coupled with the fact that everything in modern use gives you cancer

There's a head transplant scheduled for next year. It is not outside of the realm of possibilities now to have your body cloned without a head and then have your head transplanted onto it.

I guess plastic surgery will make your face look kind of fucked, but what ever.

>bioviva
isnt that the one who claims they can make telomeres longer? a complete scam

also, this "immortality" medicine won't be exclusively for the rich once it is out there in maybe 50 years. in fact it will be quite cheap and accessible, just like computers at first were expensive but then became available in great abundance to even poorfags in shithole countries

Socialism has nothing to do with what is happening now. Everything right now is leading to a singularity, where technology takes mankind into an entire new era of experience.

A very small percentage of mankind.

Everything that is happening, all that we do, is designed to achieve this singularity. When it is done, many of us will become superfluous.

Transhumanism is close to becoming a reality and it's not going for be egalitarian.

WHY WONT SOROS JSUT UFKCING DIEHOLY FUCK HE'S FUCKING RUINING EVERYTHING HE'S A COMPLETE KIKE THAT HAS DEDICATED HIS LIFE IN DESTROYING PEOPLES LIVES AND COUNTRIES

Someone needs to take one for the team and kill him. Where does he live anyway?

Dystopia is a lot funner to speculate on, though. It's pretty well known that most of humanity is going to become... I can't think of an appropriate word other than obsolete. They won't need a very large percentage of us.

Why then would they make The Genesis Device™ available to everyone? Not only would population growth continue, but the death rate would stagnate.

all humans are already obsolete and always have been

and if you look at it from the perspective of progressing as a species, still the large majority of humans is already obsolete

the world is not that simple

>overpopulation is or will ever be an issue
idiot spotted

You're blue pilled as fuck, burger. You sound like an egotistical boomer.
Haven't you grown up enough to realize that your life is worthless? Any individual human life is worthless? We are a part of a whole, just like every other species. 10 million of us die in a war, what happens? Nothing. We keep moving forward in a never ending circle of life and death.

Humans arent meant to live forever. You are not important, your family is not important. Only in your little world are you or anyone you know important.

Alas my point is, of course if immortality was made possible it would only be available to the supreme elites, whether they deserve it or not. This planet can only support so many eating, shitting, chunks of walking meat. What do you think happens if no one EVER dies?

The fag in the vid is a con artist, but eventually the jews will attain immortality. It's not like something is gonna change though. Yeah Soros is now forever, but so what? There's more than enough jews to maintain their domination even if suddenly 6 million eldest jews died this moment so it's not like we had a chance there. Are they gonna outbreed us? They still need their goys. Are they gonna enslave us? This pretty much already happened. Are they gonna destroy the planet? They're not stupid, if you remember.

Immortal jews change nothing. For all I know they could have been immortal for 50 years now, same difference.

I don't see why you need to be aggressive able this, buddy. I'm just engaging in conversation.

I also disagree on your is of human obsolescence, at least until you can argue your point.

While machines have made it so individual human productivity is much higher, people are not quite yet obsolete as they can show perform tasks. We will have a place in an automated world, though many people will become unneeded. How do you reconcile this? Do you believe that there will be an exponential growth in automated production that will employ the people disrupted by the introduction of these technologies or do you believe that they be free to do "other things?"

Why would a productive elite prop up an unproductive majority?

And while overpopulation may not be an issue, which I agree with you on, why is it being presented as an issue by international bodies and well funded NGOs? Why is propagating birth control and encouraging a child free life such a priority to these groups?

>They "earned" their wealth fair and square

i hope you dodged it
it was blatant sarcasm
jesus christ

Are you telling me the old farts like Soros and E. Rothschild plan on living past 2020's?
Toplel m80

Everything burns, and so will their precious cures and money.

>replies
>dodge
?? ? ?? ? ? ??? ? ??

>Why would a productive elite prop up an unproductive majority?
ohh you mean like it is already happening?

it all depends on what you mean with obsolete. but it sounds like you equate obsolete with unproductive because you claim that significant progress in automation in the distant future will make people obsolete

now look, the people in africa, south america and majority of asia contribute almost nothing to technological progress. they could die and the world would be better off

then there are the NEETs, the retired, wellfare leeches, criminals, drug addicts and many other social groups who are and most likely will stay net unproductive. the world would be better off without them. and once they are gone with the rapid fall of demand for infrastructure and other contemporary 'necessities' many new people will become obsolete

in the end you could probably remove more than 96% of all humans currently alive and mankind would be much better off

but you claim that once we have made great progress in automation which will make our society dozens of times wealthier and make it much easier to support all these obsolete people, somehow some mysterious NWO conspiracy wants to kill off these obsolete people? you sound like a legit sub 100 IQ retard toddler

>why is it being presented as an issue by international bodies and well funded NGOs?
because there are a lot of unintelligent and obsolete people. GMOs, nuclear, climate change, there are a lot of false fears much much larger than overpopulation
>Why is propagating birth control and encouraging a child free life such a priority to these groups?
they are a tiny minority. pretty much every western government literally subsidizes child birth

holy shit get rid of that tinfoil you dumbass

>I don't see why you need to be aggressive able this
lurk more newfag idiot

Immortality will bring eternal tyranny.
The elite are going to geneticly manipulate themselves into superhumans.
Rest of humanity will be engineered to become slave class that does the few things robots cannot do.
Military automation will allow small group of people to rule over the planet.

But this is far off. I will be happy to enjoy my life while we humans are still mostly free, and equal in death.

>Rest of humanity will be engineered to become slave class

As if it were even necessary.

this post contains so much stupidity I hope for your own sake you weren't serious

I'm curious as to how immunotherapy would work with brain cancer seeing as we have little to no lymph system in the brain.

How come my immune system is eating up my myelin though?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meningeal_lymphatic_vessels

>They'll still age
Irrelevant because the entire point of telomerase therapy is to reverse aging. So in effect, no, they would not be aging. And more techniques would be added all the time, obviously, to mitigate any other damage due to aging than telomere erosion.

>in maybe 50 years
That's literally an entire lifetime. Hundreds of millions will die while the rich will have access to life itself.

>your life is worthless
It has worth to me.

>This planet can only support so many eating, shitting, chunks of walking meat.
The problem here is that we're not a meritocracy, and we should be. Nobody should be allowed to live forever simply because they were born into the correct family, while those who could actually contribute new technology, knowledge, ethics, etc to the species are allowed to die because they didn't win the plutocrat dynastic lottery. And despite libertarian just world fantasies, those who are useful do not necessarily become rich. There are far more parasites among the rich than useful contributors.

Either way, that's not acceptable.

You're using the just world fallacy again. Nikola Tesla gave us almost single-handedly the technology of the modern world and he died penniless. And "he couldn't manage his money" is a cop-out, nor even if that were true, is it justification for what happened to him. The fact that anyone uses this as an argument only reveals the parasitic nature of the modern capitalistic system.

>Immortality will bring eternal tyranny.
Unless something is done about it, yes, it absolutely will.

Brain cancer is the cancer Jimmy Carter had. It worked.
