You are now Eric Boullier and it's September 2017. Alonso has just informed you that he won't re-sign with McLaren for 2018. Who will you get to replace Alonso and partner Vandoorne?

Keep in mind that it has to be realistic and the driver has to be very high level so that Honda and sponsors stay happy. You need experience, speed and prestige. Money is no concern, you can afford to pay 40 million a year if you need to.

>Here we have to see if it's more harder or less easier to overtake

what did kimi mean with this?

...

i agree desu..

...

Unironically Gio the Nazi.

one of the the times grand tour actually did it right

Is that actually him?

Whore-men can not ever repent because they think doing that will lose them their status as ladykillers, without realizing that they never even had it. They have always been pathetic clowns in everyone's eyes. Like Kimi Räikkönen, of whom you can't believe that he is a Formula 1 driver when you encounter him, because he looks like a teenager who's lost his moped and only thinks about pussy. None of them have any honor that could ever be insulted. Of all humans they are the least humane because they think that life is better when you are a cunt.

Kimi Räikkönen fucks as much as he desires because he is so rich that it doesn't count as infidelity. His wife counts money.

Gio is best they can get

ANGRY FINNLANDER STRIKES AGAIN

>killing poor boy's carreer

>implying Ferrari will let McLaren have Gio
>implying Gio won't replace Kimi for 2018
>implying the tifosi won't lynch Arrivabenis and Maccarone if they won't put an Italian in the car the first chance they get

yes

The new season of Top Gear (with Harris, LeBlanc and Reid as main hosts) has been so much better than Grand Tour so far.

i'm pretty sure Marchionne would want an Italian driver at Ferrari

they did, actually they put 2 different ones when massa was potato

Shanghai is not the most entertaining race but with rain forecast for Sunday Le Bully Riccibobby could be in with a chance. Fingers crossed his teammate puts his clog into Hamilton's rear doody diffuser.

I'll be going to the race again this year. Last time I went was 2013. I was seated at the end of the back straight and watched Wobbler wobble off the road with a car failure. This year I'll be in the B grass stand. Hope it provides a clear view of the first turning complex (270º right immediately followed by a 180º left).

The crowd there is not very rowdy, beer is reasonably priced though weak shit. Some fit birds about. All the good ones are in the paddock though, where I'll never be able to afford tickets

Yeah but the hype for Giovinazzi in Italy is huge as you've probably noticed. And as said, Marchionne thinks very highly of Gio and would like to see him at Ferrari. I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled the trigger and brought Gio to the Scuderia for 2018 already. It all depends on his performance this year but I think there's at least a 70% chance now.

>gio the 88 nazi joins in 2018
>gets better times than vetlel
>vetlel sinks into depression like a couple of years ago with ricciardo

plz kek
make it habben

>look up what Paddock Club tickets for an F1 race cost
>guess tha they are in the 1500-2000 € range
>they are actually over 5000 €

and you don't even get real pit lane access, only "guided tours through the pit lane"

Have Ferrari ever hired a rookie driver?

Technically, 2018 would be Gio's debut season.

>you don't even get real pit lane access
that's because you might be a dirty kraut spy

IIRC with paddock club you get access to the motorhome-area but not the actual pit lane and pit boxes, you'd need some connections with one of the teams to get in there

>buy paddock club pass to one grand prix
>make mates with someone from Sauber or Haas or some other low team during the weekend
>get invited to every grand prix
>???
>profit

i just saw that honda PU uses an axial compressor.
i don't know why they would prefer an axial compressor, but there's a fundamental reason if automotive engines all use radial compressors.
axial machines work best in a narrow range of volumetric flow-rate (the highest), given a rotational speed; everytime the engine revs up and down, the volume flow-rate varies and the compressor goes out of its BEP, so >muh 20%

honda guys pls harakiri

no, also

how come there are no American F1 drivers?

No, you from Sydney, cobba?

fuck you and your body-shaming

>leastern australia
nah, lad.

I think there's only one person with a super license from the states, and that is Alexander Rossi who drove for Manor at one point.

American drivers can't even win in their own dedicated containment series, how would they succeed in F1?

GIMI WILL WIN

Well I am so fuck you

implyingrigged.info/wiki/Sup Forumserb_Owl

The groups haven't been drawn yet, in fact the last day of signups is on Monday. The cup will take place on 16 and 17 (maybe 18 too if there are too many teams).

thanks

KOBAYASHI you retards

Today, I will remind them.

Don't delude yourself

Feels vindicating man

yeah but Emilia will go to some and there won't be a horse there.

And what about Victoria?

I couldn't do that to Valtteri.

I don't class Victoria-Jane as a WAG, desu. That doesn't mean I don't want to bend her over amx's dressing table in his room in the Red Bull Energy Station and pump her full of baby batter.

It's going to be a straight swap between Bottas and Alonso

It's no secret that Mercedes wanted Alonso and both sides have confirmed this to be the case. Alonso probably has the most watertight contract ever (knowing his past adventures) and Mercedes cited this as the end of the negotiations. It is also not a secret that Bottas signed a 1 year deal only.

Bottas is doomed at Merc either way. If he does better than Hamilton, Hamilton will fully chimp out and start spewing Rosberg muh engineers x10 levels of conspiracy theories and act like a child as per usual and Merc will probably let Bottas go to prevent another "toxic" partnership because they don't want to lose their marketable USA demographic driver. And if Bottas doesn't do that well, he just won't get his contract renewed because he underperformed, coincidentally just in time when a bunch of top drivers are out of contracts.

If this happens I would not be surprised to see Merc be 2012-2013 tier and McLaren/Honda finally redeeming themselves with a racewinning car just because >Alonso

Paul di Resta

If Bottas can't get a contract for Merc is it going to be Kimi out from Ferrari And Valtteri in?

If Ferrari continue to be at least equal to Mercedes i could see Hamilton leaving the team.

Who's contracts are up? Bottas is a contender, but I think Ricky and some others are free too, and if Ferrari are good this year, people will wanna move there.

I think ricky is with rbr until end of 2018
I wanna see him in red cucking vettlel though

I dunno, there are so many moving parts in F1 that it's hard to actually predict anything. Kimi might just stay another year. A lot of things hinge on how well specific drivers perform

Kimi does well = stays at Ferrari
Kimi does shit + Giovinazzi does shit + something happens at Merc = Bottas/Perez at Ferrari
Kimi does shit + Giovinazzi does really well in the next few races = Giovinazzi to Ferrari because Italian nationalism on the rise (it is also possible that they will just force Giovinazzi onto Haas, can't see him getting a Sauber seat in 2018 as the Sauber-Honda deal is practically done at this point if sources are to be believed)

etc etc.

Either way, unless Bottas REALLY chokes, I don't think he will be out of a seat for 2018. I think its still likeliest he just stays at Mercedes. But honestly he could make move to either Ferrari, McLaren, maybe even

It could also be that no one actually fucking wants Alonso at this point and his only option is to either retire or to stay at the McHonda dream

Or maybe Ferrari, with new management and personnel want Alonso back and Alonso wants to go back there so he can prove he can BTFO Vettel in equal machinery or something.

...maybe even back to Williams, as he is one of the few drivers who didn't leave that team on bad terms lol and I really can't see Massa sticking around for 2018.

I don't think RB will let Ricky go unless another Vettel-Webber scenario emerges at RB, and considering their car isn't that great and likely won't be a total surefire racewinner dominant machine this season, I don't think the situation will implode.

I honestly expect Williams to end up with Stroll/Palmer or Stroll/Wherlein. Williams will go down to backmarker level again before they ever get good again.
