I wouldn't hesitate to fight in order to save a loved one from direct harm. That wouldn't mean I would want to, but that I would feel obligated to.

How do you come to this conclusion? I don't feel the need to dominate others, being a generally likeable person can be enough influence in itself. People will do things I want because I'm likely to return the favor, not because I "dominate" them.
