Hey Sup Forums...

hey Sup Forums, my 10 yo daughter just finished the 7th book from the Harry Potter Tribute Series (may his soul RIP in piece).
Anyway, any recommendation of books for her? It doesn't have to be another biography.

The chronicles of Narnia.

good idea, thanks!

>Harry Potter Tribute Series
>It doesn't have to be another biography
???

well, 7 books is a quite enough dose of biography, don't you agree?

Biography??? Wut.

Narnia or The Hobbit are very good and should be required reading for children.

Narnia might be cool, but The Hobbit is another biography and I think she's a bit bored of them...

...

Mein Kampf

>another biography
you keep using that word, I don't think it means what you think it means

ok then, please enlighten me.

Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

my daughter is really into the Wimpy Kid series right now. Same age.

she's read both already...

when i was young i read 'the meaning of it all' by Richard Feynman. It is a good read.

I'm not sure if she read it... but she's reading Diary of an Unpopular Girl and I catch her laughing all the time
I'll check it out, thanks

The Lusty Argonian Maid

Send her over to Sup Forums so she begins feasting her eyes on how beautiful our world really is.

Best choice

Have you given her the biography "mein kampf"?

unfortunately she is illiterate

read the whole thread, candy ass

this is really rude but it doesnt seem ur child is on the same level of reading comprehension as OPs is........ your kid will prolly have a way better personality tho lmfao.

Even better!

Tell her to read the bible and become Jehovahs witness

The Eragon Series is great

enders game series, I first read it around that time

>she's read books
>she's illiterate
Choose one

His dark materials (books behind the Golden Compass movie) are great. Made even better by having a cast of dozens of people doing the different voices.

Aldous Huxley, "Brave New World"

Should clarify I immediately thought we were talking about audio books.

Working on Brisingr as we speak.
As usual the movie is absolute garbage compared to the books.
Although I have some issues with the book too.

OP said she finished it, not read it.
Ever heard of audio books?

>she's read both already...

50 shades of grey darker

Well I'm blind.
Everyone who listens to audio books say they read them though.

the kama sutra

Thats fucked up, but pretty funny!

War and peace

"Diary of an unpopular girl" yeah, that's the one. Not the wimpy kid book.

too young, but definitely will give it when she's 13. and 1984 when she's 16

When I was a kid I really loved the Series of Unfortunate Events series. There are 13, each one is relatively short, but they're all very engaging and funny. They, along with Harry Potter, got me into reading. I'd definitely recommend them.

seems like a pretty cool book IMO

thanks guys, I knew I could count on you Sup Forums

BTW, if you wanna read a great book, I recommend Dark Matter, by Blake Crouch. It's fucking awesome.

I'll have a look, thanks
