The thing with light outlines is that the colors end up bleeding through, This is mainly a problem when you have high-contrast colors next to eachother, or if you're going fast and don't feel like trying to get everything exactly centered in the outlines (the thicker the outlines, the more you can cheat and cut corners when coloring... assuming they're dark enough to bleed)
Pic related is a good example of bleeding colors, especially around his whiskers.
Your picture, however, is actually pretty much fine. The pinks and minty greens fade into the outlines, and the darker reds are supposed to be a very sudden transition anyway
