Ranger it is! You have a bonus to ranged combat!

Name leader.

You're the leader of a small band of centaurs who just separated from another centaur group that decided to move south for the winter. You had your own ideas about what you should do in the winter and your friends followed you, then their friends friends and soon you had a roving band at your command.

How do you want to organize the rule of your new band of centaurs?
> Despotism what you say goes
> Elder council the oldest members rule
> Conduct a battle to the death for the privilege to rule
> Hunting council the hunters rule

Your tribe has 100 centaurs, 30 of which are hunters.

Battle to death

Battle to the death, heal the losers though.

Since we don't have dice I'll consider the two last digits reversed as 1d100 for anything applicable

We decide to organize a battle to the death to determine the ruler. Only one enemy dares to challenge the rule of the current leader, a strong muscular centaur . If the first linked post to this one rolls higher the current leader will win, if it rolls lower the new leader emerges as a barbarian.

We decide to explore south. We find a herd of aurochs grazing on the grasslands.

Domesticate

Domesticate Auroch

Other, rape them

My roll was 75 first linked was 57

The challenger wins the fight to the death and a new barbarian leader emmerges as the ruthless ruler of our band! Name him.

We decide to domesticate the auroch. We fashion some ropes and drag them along with us. We captured 50 of them and we assign 10 herders to take care of them. Should we slaughter the excess males for food?

There are still more wild auroch, but the remaining herd is led by a strong and proud alpha auroch. Should we deal with him?

Tame the alpha, let them become our spirit animals.

Totem skulls

We decide to kill the alpha auroch and use his skull as a totem!

We decide to explore further south. We find a river and some hills.
There's a small halfling settlement of about 30 halflings dwelling in tents with large wagons draw by oxen. They say they are travelling merchants. They are carrying salt and metals to a port in the west. They are short on food and would trade some salt or metal for fresh food. They would also hire us to protect them on their journey if we want.
What should we do about the halflings?
> Offer some auroch for salt
> Offer some auroch for metals
> Offer protectiong for metals
> Blackmail them into giving us metal
> Kill them all and loot their stuff
> Ignore them

As we strongly overpowered the halflings we decide to kill all the halflings and loot their stuff.
They try to put up a fight but their resistance was token at best. A few centaurs were wounded in the battle but nothing our shaman couldn't handle. We now have several wagon loads of metal and dozens of barrels of salt.

Exploring the west we find a large walled city by the sea, probably the port the halflings were talking about. There are probably thousands of humans in that city. Guards can clearly be seem at the gates and traffic in and out of the city is controlled. There are some farmlands outside the walls.

Enter city to trade salt

Other, trade with the city

Trade salt, metals and auroch with city for gold, food and battle supplies

As our delegation approach the city carrying the supplies we pilfered from the the halflings significant suspicion is arised amongst the guards. They refuse to grant us entrance in the walled city but we're free to conduct our trade outside. The people are afraid of trading with centaurs at first but they overcome their fears when we start selling stuff at lower prices.

We make a small fortune trading salt on the outskirsts of the town. The business for metal, mostly copper, is slow though.

The tax collector takes notice of our business and arrives with a taskforce of 20 soldiers demanding 45% of our profits. What do we do?
> Pay the tax
> Bribe them to pay only 25%
> Promise to pay later then leave town
> Kill them

We promise to pay the tax collector later then we leave town when he's not around.

We decide to keep exploring west. We find an elvish village in the forest. There are about 50 elves living there. They greet us suspiciously. Most of them are proficient archers and there are a few spellcasters. Their leader is a shaman called Delila. They request us to leave them alone.
> Ask them to teach us some nature magic

Probably

The elves agree to trading metals for longbows. Our hunters are now equipped with longbows, greatingly increasing their ranged combat capabilities.

We decide to keep exploring south. Crossing the river and going through the hills we find several mountains. We happen upon a man carrying a weird book made of human leather who says he's a necromancer and if we find him some corpses he can raise them to do his bidding. What should we do?
> Escort him the halfling bodies
> Tell him about the location we left the halfling bodies
> Murder him and take his book
> Confiscate his book and let him go

We decide to murder him and take his book.

We send a group to explore south. Since we can't climb mountains they try to go around and find a path. As we're pathfinding around the mountains through hills we are ambushed by dwarves. After of our men start to get killed by catapult and ballista fire, the remaining of the scouts flee back to warn us about the threat. We lost 10 centaurs total.

We need to start making some new centaurs and the elves look like a good option

We decide to return to the elvish village. We propose to them all alliance between our tribes. Their leader says she'll consider our offer if we give them some more metal.
