In the spirit of OP's description I'm gonna try to listen to everyone's tracks in the thread
I like the beat, but it gets a little monotonous. You put a bridge in at around the one minute mark, but that gets repetitive, too. If it were my track, I'd mess with the tone of the synth at the bridge, maybe fluctuate between octaves? Overall, well produced and I would listen to it again
good production, very trippy, I like the breakdown towards the end
Sounds like something from the Juno soundtrack. It's simple, but elegant and comfy. Good job, man
Sounds like comfy video game music, can't wait to hear it when it's done

this is the first draft of a track on an album I've gotta release in a few weeks as a fundraiser for a local organization. Themes are anti-white supremacy and anti-capitalism, kind of taunting the left into being more active and angry and less "we gotta luv each other, man"
I'm weakest at mixing so if anyone can give me any pointers I would really, really appreciate it, and I'll reciprocate (On SC, though)

raps on raps on raps. I want to make stuff that's evergreen this is harder than it sounds. Ignore dumb throwaways
meme bullshit
, but some of my low count tracks actually stand out among the others. Some throwaway concepts that needed to be gotten out of the way turn out somewhat decent. I'm especiall curious what people think of my content versus context. I self monitor about lines which feel like a forced double entendre or polysemantic at times. Those are either for personal entertainment or because I think someone would bother to rap genius the lines.
Obvious issues include amateur audio mixing and lack of cohesive themes at different points.

Don't have a soundcloud but any feedback would be great
I don't even like punk but this is great. Production is excellent, especially the guitars.
Love part 1, transition into part 2 was great too. Liked the beginning of part 2 but not a fan of the noise, although it sounds good and is well executed.
Love the ambient/creepy vibe on this one, drums are dope, guitars and bass is amazing. did you play this yourself?
Very nice, drums are on point and the whole track sounds real professional.
Guitar skills are insane dude, really liking the blues tracks especially. Drums could use some work though, kick and snare need to be louder first of all, and the drums on your blues tracks sound a bit off beat. Drums on black diamond are good though.
Very nice chill vibes on this track, really like the second half

the melody gets pretty repetitive after a while and the drop feels a little empty (seems like that was intentional, but it could still use another sound imo, maybe a counter melody or something)

Please get better at guitar. Why are you down strumming exclusively? Why are you singing so softly? Listen to good guitarists like Django Reinhardt instead of Neutral Milk Hotel.
Sounds like just messing around
Needs a little more chops on that guitar sounding instrument. The surf rhythym doesn't keep up much.
I don't like shit this digital sounding without insane chops like Feed Me or Electric Universe. I don't like hiding behind vocal effects either.
I like the drums. Guitar is mixed far too loud and the tone is off. Turn the distortion down and maybe go to a neck pickup. Sounds Vai toned where it should be Wes Montgomery.
This is good. Reminds me of Samurai Champloo. Love it.
Work on vocal timbre. I like the harmonies though. The mix sounds odd in that it sounds very mid and low heavy. You have the countering high synths but they don't punch through. Maybe it's just too wet to have much seperation, I'm not sure.
Yoga music.

Phone recording. Haven't decided on words and have been messing with melody so haven't recorded for real yet.
It's middle of the road acoustic pop.
You definiately like Brand New. I like the song structures. I would just say to work on vocals and add harmonies. Lacey generally does on lower pitched voice sung soft and one higher pitched for his. It would definately work here.
Very nice. I like the vocal confidence. Reminds me of O'Brother.

Already reviewed "Very solid work here! Dope rhymes, dope flow, and dope beat :)"
So I really like the experimental direction you headed! That being said, I would shorten up the intro and the song as a whole and add some more instrumentation. To the average listener, this sound could get very boring.
Solid vocal performance! I would keep practicing every day though, towards the end you went just a tad bit off key. But up until that point you soundedd great :). I would also work on your mixes and invest in some better recording equipment.
Dk if this was supposed to be a whole song, or just an intro or outro. That being said, I would work on adding more instrumentation, this song hardly progresses at all. And because it is a very simple loop with minimal instrumentation, i get a very boring vibe :(. I do think this ambient vibe does have a chill mood though, keep working and I'm sure you will make some cool stuff

Very impressive work here sir! Instrumentation: Great mix. Your intro to beat breakdown was A +, ending guitar is also amazing! Vocals: Mix needs improvement. It was a little high at places, then dipped down. I also think you should put much less reverb on your vocals and put more compression on them to make them brighter. To achieve the lo fi effect I would mix your vocals properly, then add a lo fi filter to them :) Very nice work though, perhaps the best song I have heard from mu so far
Man this is the most professional sounding mix/master I have heard so far from mu. Very impressive! Solid vocal performance as well as instrumentation! Being a new artist though, consider shortening up your songs. Some people may only listen to half of your song before clicking to the next song
I really enjoyed the vibe of this song! Instrumentation: Very solid, needs some work on mixing. If I were you I would compress your drums quite a bit more to have them pop. Vocals: solid too. But you should work on the mixing, they were far too high for the hook/chorus
Already reviewed "Very nice synthesizer layers right here! :) And man do I love the drums on this, especially the claps!" I am going to add though, perhaps tune down the claps just a hair, they were very high in the mix. Other than that, great mix/master.
Very First Beat!
>pop funk
>funky bassline
>vocoder
>Bruno Mars 24k Magic Remix
I really enjoyed your vocal samples, some of them were pretty darn funny! I would consider shortening this instrumental and adding more drops and drum fills. Changing up your bass pattern throughout the track a tad bit would be make the track more interesting too. You could change it up simply too, by just dropping the bass out every now and again. On the instrumentation side, I think you could add some more synths/instruments to make this beat really come to life
Already reviewed "Very nice build ups as well as break downs! :) Drums were on point too, I almost got a modern boom bap feel from this!" I will add though, perhaps shortening up this beat would make this song would be a good idea. That way the listener can listen to the whole song without even thinking about changing it :)
Like the direction! Needs a better mix, your hi hats are stabbing my ears and I can barely hear the piano. I would also consider adding more percussion
Some very scary stuff here! Don't know how to review it other than, man this is something different

Already reviewed "Solid track! Really enjoy the upbeat rhythm! Instrumentation gives me vibes reminiscent of 90's punk :)" Will also add, Will also add, just noticed your song title lol. This intro is also very mellow and cool
Already reviewed "Holy cow you used a lot of samples! The experimental direction you went on this is also awesome! Very unique :)" Will add, you should definitely shorten this song up. It is around 9 mins long, most listeners will not listen to any song for that long.
Solid production and instrumental mix! I would have liked hear a better vocal mix, however. Vocals are just a tad too high
Already reviewed "A very nostalgic synthesizer! I am getting some major 80's vibes! Nice work :)"
Really dig the vibe of this track! I would have like to hear a much shorter version though and a shorter intro. People may only play a small portion of the song unless the intro is shorter and the track is shorter, due to how mellow this track is
are you serious

Man do I love the intro! I would work on your basslines, this bassline is just a tad bit off key. The mix could be better on the drums and bass, I can barely hear the bass and the kick drum is pounding a little too much. The high pass filter on the sample may have taken out a little too many highs as well. You fix up those problems, and dayum do u have a groove
Man do you sound similar to Le Real right here rapping! I like the instrumental and vibe. You definitely need to get some better recording equipment though, people will probably get turned off by your music if they hear a bad mix and bad quality audio
Pretty darn unique sound. I am getting hints of rock, smooth jazz, and 80s beverly hill cop music. You should defintley focus on your mix, and shorten up this song quite a bit
So i really like the direction you went on this. You should really work on your mix and shorten this song up quite a bit. Everything else is solid
I really like the way this song progresses! Your sampling techniques are very impressive. I would have like to hear a better mix and definitely more low end on this. I think you simply put too much of a high pass filter on your samples and instruments
Already Reviewed "Very interesting textures here, especially your bass that comes in and out. Though it is very simplistic I am hooked into the beat the whole song"
Word, noted. In the future my beats will definitely not be nearly as repetitive
