How come no one criticized this faggot as much as KD did for switching teams?

How come no one criticized this faggot as much as KD did for switching teams?

People did. But he's not at talented or relevant so people didn't care as much outside of Blazers fans and some hardcore basketball fans.

The Spurs didn't just post 73 wins and he isn't anywhere near as good as KD.

Still was bad, not as hated as KD's call tho

he's not KD tier

The Spurs just won a championship too, and LMA is a top 3 PF in the NBA and the Blazers haven't been the same since

1: He's a star, but he's not a superstar, so he doesn't get quite as much scrutiny.
2: I think most people assumed he was probably going to leave Portland anyway while Durant leaving OKC was genuinely surprising.
3: San Antonio didn't just set the record for most regular-season wins.
3A: San Antonio didn't just knock Portland out of the playoffs.
3B: Portland wasn't three minutes away from the Finals.

Basically, Aldridge's move was less of a bitch move than Durant's.

this.

Also Aldridge is actually from Texas and wanted to go back home.

And he wasn't actively talking to the Spurs all year behind the back of his teammates.

Whereas KD colluded with Draymond all of last season knowing they'd end up playing together in the Olympics anyway.

They were a year removed from a Championship and he joined a team whose stars were rapidly aging and joined when Duncan was pretty much mummified on the bench.

because LMA isn't even a top 20 player

even Bosh was a better player when he bolted for the Heat

LMA is not a top three pf
t. spurs fan

OP must not be from Portland

The Spurs completely lost their "signature" pass-heavy game with the addition of Aldridge, he's a big burden for them on offense because he's a good scorer but not good enough, can't really post-up like an elite big guy should be able to, and relies on midrange shot too much, they already have Gasol, Kawhi and Parker for those. Simply put, he's a poor, poor man's Duncan, he can't defend the rim or pass the ball effectively. They should draft him for Robin Lopez or DeAndre Jordan desu.

Bosh was a great player, I never understood the hate he got.

>tfw bosh will never play again

as a portland fan im glad hes gone

also thank you for making nurkic, our center of the future

Plenty of people have left teams to chase rings, it's only when a genuine superstar does it that people get upset. That free agency we didn't have everyone wondering where LMA was going to go.

I'm not a moslem, but thanks anyway, Nurkić is highly talented. Zubac and Bender's birth places are closer to me than Nurkić's.

>it's only when a genuine superstar does it that people get upset

*It's only when a superstar talks for a whole year about staying and loyalty but then leaves that people get upset

KD essentially moved from a #2 to a #1. That #2 could have won if he had kept working with them, but he bailed for the easy win.

LA moved from a #8 to a #1 (maybe not 1, but point is a shit team to a great team). Like some others said, the key is Portland was shit. He had no chance of winning a title with them. Sure, great players can make teams great, but no one expects great players to waste their careers at awful teams. He had every right to leave Portland. And I say this as a Portlandian.

By all rights the Thunder should have been in the Finals last year. They had the Warriors on the ropes and then they gagged away a three game lead. And a decent chunk of that was due to Durant's shitty play in the clutch, like he's ALWAYS been.

The Spuds are going to get exposed once again by the Grizzlies, it's 2011 all over again.

Because he's shit snd if anything makes the Spurdoras worse.

Are you really glad he's gone though? You went from winning 51-54 games to winning only 42-44 games

He's their second best scorer and defender.

Because nobody knows who the fuck he is

>No one

lma was always a bitch beta

he couldn't stand playing with broy and as soon as the team was 'his' he shit the bed until we drafted lillard

he was supposed to be the third option behind roy and oden and that analysis was completely spot on

He was criticized, but everyone knew he was just a borderline allstar caliber player and not getting worked up over.

But remember all the meetings he took during his FA period? He sure was the best FA on the market

And the Spurs have consecutive 60 win teams for the first time in their history, partially because of him

You don't remember all the meetings he was taking with different teams?

Is anyone in Portland even salty he's gone?

He barely got booed in his return on Monday

What happened to him?

Because hes a a literal who

"No"
