ETIQUETTE - Include correct format (artist / band, title of release, year of release, cover art, the file type (v0, 320 mp3, FLAC, etc), short description, YouTube sample, link) - Send thanks if you have downloaded something to let them know they did a good thing - Avoid sharing / requesting things that are already on the archive - Soulseek / rutracker are your friends, too - just don't argue in this thread about it - No samples on YouTube, Soundcloud? Drag'n'drop any mp3 onclyp.it
REQUESTS >I have a request! Did I... - Check the archive for a live link before requesting? - Share something first? - Google "blogspot + artist name + album name"
ARCHIVE >"I don't know how to find what I'm looking for in the archive" - Go here: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>archive.rebeccablacktech.com/mu/ - When searching, limit your search to links only, like so: "desired album mega|zippyshare|mediafire" - Make sure you've typed "zippyshare" and not "zippy", or else Zippyshare links will not be found.
Did you even read your own etiquette these are all the first fucking links in the archive did you make this thread just for someone else to type "peasant mega" for you?
Sharing is a process which involves uploading files to a website, as you can see, common choices include mega.nz or mediafire or zippyshare. Then you can post the link for people to download them in this thread! It's a great system

Bump anyone know any good websites besides zippy and mega to upload to
>Shoegaze, Psychedelic Soul >N° 43 on p4k's Top 50 Best Shoegaze Albums of all time >underrated as hell, pretty lengthy, but almost every song delivers >tfw great vocalist in a shoegaze album
Babasonicos - Babasónica (1997) [320 CBR] >Stoner Rock, Heavy Psych, Psychedelic Folk >underrated argentinian stoner rock record with catchy as fuck riffs
That's not how these threads function. It's part of the protocol to post a description of what you're sharing. If you don't feel like doing that, then don't share at all.
John Frusciante - PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone (2012) >Electronic album by the former guitarist of RHCP. Drum machines, guitars, synths and some breakbeats. He sings on it too of course.
Thanks a bunch! Luckily i have MusicBrainz Picard to tag stuff.

Genre, sub-genre?

they all had samples though so that info is available
Jack Russell
>go through each video (open it in a new tab because embedding doesnt work for me for some reason) >listen to the first 30 seconds of each one. "hmmm this is kind of new wavey with a bit of new orleans jazz and elements of grunge, interesting" >take 10 hours going through the thread analyzing each
>versus the poster leaving a 2 or 3-word blurb
Blake Lewis
Exactly. Retards, stop fucking sharing

Yumi Matsutoya – Benisuzume (紅雀 ) 1978 Japan Funk / Pop / Folk
5th album (1st one under married name). Released with obi and printed inner sleeve. Recorded in September 1977 to January 1978 at Onkio Haus studio 1st, 2nd and 6th.
download: martinradio.com/2017/09/yumi-matsutoya-benisuzume.html I'm testing out a youtube livestream that plays rare world / electronic / funk / boogie music 24/7, while displaying album art and track info, is anyone interested? I feel like this is something haven't seen on youtube before, and eventually want it to be running 24/7 with set schedules
i wouldnt download something if i didn't check it out beforehand personally. yes it is time consuming to check out new music. but little blurbs mean practically nothing to me compared to actually listening to it. IMO blurbs are optional but samples are not
Andrew Allen
i havent ever shared so that's easy to do :^)

Agreed, most of the fun of these share threads for me is taking the time to listen and try new music.

Pink Rhythm - Melodies of Love 1985 UK Funk / Electronic / Disco / New Wave / Boogie / Electronic 2017 Compilation, HQ
I'm not going to listen to every single sample in the thread, especially in larger threads. Most people don't have the time for that. The genres and blurbs let people know what shares they might be interested in exploring further. Whether or not you use them, those blurbs are useful

martinradio always bringing that good stuff. Really appreciate these shares man
