420 question: Lately I have been smoking a lot of high grade & having very intense spiritual awakening/realization. I was curious if anyone else ever gets this & how you interpret it? I am instigating most of these thoughts and ideas with media, tonight using a lecture on mastering our thinking patterns.
Topics that are kind of linked are often relating to ancestry, friends, general family, our thoughts about other people, all of us being one, religious interpretations like reincarnation, the idea of jesus being a savior and "dying" for his people and applying this to the theory that we are all one and how that would mean we die for ourselves and our own sins.
Also, is having these thoughts what people refer to as being "fried"? I figured these kinds of ideas generated from drug were associated with psychedelics much more than a psychoactive drug... is it just that LSD or psilocybin provides visual depictions to our thoughts and intensifies these realizations maybe escalating them to epiphany's?

We are all the same person but with different experiences.

You're on a one way street to an existential crisis it sounds like. Good luck, can be either really enlightening with lots of self improvement, or soul shattering and ruins your life.
Daniel Brown
I'm pretty sure I've already come out of the existential crisis bit and now am in the stage of looking into that & taking from it what I need. I think it is affecting me positively.
I'm just curious why marijuana is encouraging this. Maybe it is smoking consecutively over the course of a few days?

>How do we keep the earth fully populated with humans forever?

>how do you keep a pimple full of pus?
humans are such like bacteria.

Not sure if "consciousness" is limited to humans, this planet, this universe, etc. so it's hard to suggest that we need to ask that.
Also I am reading that a Kundalini Awakening sounds similar to what I am experiencing and in reference to that found this excerpt: Still, many teachers caution against attempts to induce an awakening through intense Pranayama or other methods. Instead, it should occur spontaneously, when the body is ready. In Tantra: The Path of Ecstasy, yoga scholar Georg Feuerstein explains why: "If you don't first open the central channels of the nervous system, raising the serpent power along the axial pathway is not only impossible but also very dangerous to attempt, for instead of entering the central channel (sushumna nadi) it is likely to force itself in to the ida or the pingala nadi, on either side of the central channel, causing immense havoc in the body and mind."
Kundalini reminds us that consciousness is far vaster than most of us have ever imagined, which can seem overwhelming and disorienting. But Sovatsky says that people who have a psychotic break from an awakening usually come from a troubled family background, face high levels of stress, and don't have enough emotional support. Still, both Sovatsky and Kempton recommend that anyone who is fearful in the midst of such an awakening should seek support from a therapist (such as a transpersonal psychologist) or a teacher who has gone through it herself.
Alexander Williams
"Awakening can happen to anyone at any age. There are many methods of awakening the kundalini fire such as yoga, meditation, near-death experience, mind-substances, sex, out-of-body experience, pro-longed stress, initiation by a guru, shamanic ritual and even crocheting."
Is this familiar to anyone else?
Samuel Flores
You're only going to awaken to how much you know, what conclusions you can draw from your inferences life experience. Keep reading books, and have some regiment of physical exercise. Smoke on.

"The Kundalini Shakti has ignited the fire within many individuals throughout the entire world from the Shaman to the psychiatrist to the average adult to the psychonauts. The point is Awakening is not a special elite, it can and will happen to everyone at some point in their existence."
So pot is like a lifehack in that it provides everyone this insight, or is this the difference between an indica and a sativa?
I have only been using marijuana spiritually for about a month or two so am just learning to understand it in this way. Smoking socially, I am curious how I can keep from having such realization or if I even could given focus is turned to media or food, etc.

Psychedelics are the reason for our special evolutionary success. The rest is cannabilism and various forms of enslavement.
Jonathan Peterson
So, given that, how is it possible we haven't become fully socialist/communist and drawn away from materialistic values yet? Is that what's next to come?
Happens to me all the time. I usually forget about it all until I get high the next time.

Capitalism follows natural laws of self ownership, property rights, and non aggressions/voluntarism. Become an amateur historian and look how fewer wars on a smaller scale we have compared to the last 500 years off the back of the spread of capitaliam, and those bedrock aforementioned principles. Capitalism at its heart is anarchism and vice versa.

Also, I'm pretty fucking high right now
Nathaniel Sanchez
A lot has happened in the past 500 years besides the spread of capitalism. Your equating correlation and causation.

You are wrong, we are mutli cellular. Animals are better the more complex they get. You suck because you are so basic.
John Peterson
Unfortunately this, I'm high as shit and this seems really out there

Interesting. But suppose it is limited to humans. How do we keep the sun from expanding?

So he speaks the christian interpretation in which jesus entered a body to be beaten... he doesnt address the fact that we are taking our beating.

We don't need to keep anything from doing anything, it will happen as needed... not to say this is all predestined, i do think there is randomness or your "luck" involved. That only makes me wonder if horoscope is bullshit or if it's applicable from this level of awareness... it always seemed to just be persuading or lingering in case the chance situation to which it applied became a reality.
Noah Perez
"Do you speak to me like you speak to God?" God chose to be loved in the neighbor, in the another. "If we say we love God, but hate others, we are liars. For we cannot love God, whom we have not seen, if we do not love others, whom we have seen. The command that Christ has given us is this: whoever loves God must love others also." (1 John 4 :20,21)
Now interpret this in the way that God is in all of us. I am god, you are god, we are all god. Makes sense now?
Ethan Campbell
The spread of capitslism is the fundamental guiding principal of the quiltwork of human society, at least the developed parts of such. It is everything.
Robert Gonzalez
yeah you kinda need to have a sober moment to reflect rationally
Christian Barnes
Write it down, show it to someone smart when sober, see if it's garbage.
Juan Jenkins
you dont even need to do that, just write it down and reread it yourself when sober you'll be able tell pretty quickly if it's just stoner babble or something else going on mentally
Lincoln Foster
Name another factor of the "lot" that's happened and find something that has been as enduring or as influential. One might argue for communism, and it certainly had its influence, but communism failed Russia and China both in less than a century. Spinoff socialist nations like Norway and Sweden are merely prolonging their demise, but their failure is also inevitable. Sure, many other things happened, but the influence of capitalism is evident in everything from the flipster stock trading shit heads of today to the Dutch West India Company of the 17th century. I'd be hard pressed to come up with a religion which, on its own, was as integral in the evolution of society over the last 500 years.
