I stopped listening of this kind of music years ago but this is actually really good

ooh nice
the way this drum line came in fucking got me. the bass got me too. this is the shit i wish i made and don't make. i wasn't into the discord in your voice / the lazy kind of feel in it until the chorus and then it worked perfectly. I'm not even kissing your ass i just really like this stylistically
really good flow. coming from a person who isn't an authority on this, i might suggest bringing the 'ooo's down or your vocals up because they're distracting. it sounds super professional and i think that would take it to the next level
>soundcloud.com
I'm a big fan of the style of this production and the vocal sampling! i have to take a second listen to focus on your lyrics but they flow beautifully

Only listening to the bandcamp ones.
This is excellent my guy. The sampling is well placed and nothing is overused or underused. I'm looking forward to more things from you, and come to paycheck I may buy a copy of this.
Not a terribly big fan of this, but the Brew is there and it's well made. I'll keep up with your stuff for the future though, as I'm interested to see where you go.

Got our debut EP out finally. Please feel free to give any feedback possible and if you like it leave us a follow on SC and BC.

Like the production, singing needs some more natural flow between notes. Regardless good stuff!
Good shit as always
Like those spoken word samples added in, really give a nice cyberpunk feel
Very playful instrumental tracks, nice stuff!
Feels kinda sloppy but i like the ideas you are trying around, keep working on it!
Corridor is really cool stuff, like the fuzziness
I would love some feedback!

I like deep space nine. Personally I find the mix to be lacking low end.
Corridor?
>soundcloud.com
brokers is the best track. I love how abruptly it starts. the sounds do get a bit old after 20 seconds. This stuff is not my cup of tea but i can see how someone who is into this can love this
Yeah we recorded this over 3 days and have nobody available to mix this since we're all in school so its definitely a rough demo. Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks! Good luck with your work
Corridor? The picture is from the main library on University of Toronto's campus where we're based out of.

It's interesting how you totally flipped Nobody Here into something that sounds that dark and soundtrack-ish. It's probably more of a doodle than your real potential, but it's nice background music, rather listen to this than vaporwave tbqh.
Not a thing I'd normally listen to, but it's nicely produced, a little variety wouldn't be bad, but this is only the single, so who knows.
Really well put together EP, recording is nice, sounds full, I have no idea what you did with the drums but you totally hit the spot, like, perfect really, definitely worth checking out, it would be really good if you could expand on this sound later on with more instrumentation.
Swarming flocks is a gem, probably the best cut on the EP.
I remember this one, I heard Bonfire a while ago, really like the sample, probably because I grew up around slavic folk music (it's inescapable really).
Some of the ideas are okay, they could be reworked properly ("your moonlight" and "voices in leaves" for instance), but it's really sloppy, some of the songs are unnecessary (black water). I get that it's a bedroom folk type of thing, but needs a lot of work.
DSP is really catchy and melodic, really love how the track ends too, probably the most well developed cut. Someone Else (the whole EP for that matter) is a nice nod to what Mac DeMarco does. Driven is a tearjerker I must admit.
It's a nice first attempt, there are flaws of course (mostly in the mixing, could be done more effectively), but for I think that people that gravitate towards dream pop can respect it. Wishing you luck in the future.

RECS:
Thank you so much for the kind words! Mac is a huge inspiration to myself and the bandleader so im glad we could that impression. We're definitely hoping to record professionally either in December or next Summer when we're all off school so please look forward to what we have in store!
In regards to your song I love the zaniness of the spoken samples and the percussion, its wild and fucking bananas! I love it!
Thanks for the rec! Like Like a Bullet To Your Brain a lot

I agree that blackwater was unnecessary, so I removed it. Along with the oncoming storm. did you think that any other songs were unneeded? Sometimes I just get carried away and upload too hastily ha
...
Think it's okay now, yeah.
I'd suggest you stick to more simple ideas and expand on them later on.
Yeah, I agree. I had already planned to stick to much more basic compositions for the next project. go for a more refined sound as opposed to a more experimental one. Thanks for the help and feedback, it's greatly appreciated

my last album. glad to have +800 plays (most of them by spam tough :( )
there's always someone waiting to shit all over something you do; fuck em. A whole lot of well-established musicians make stuff that is derivative or "generic" and once they've done it long enough to make a paycheck you never see em publicly complaining. So not everyone is groundbreaking? That's okay, you can still hone your craft and make stuff that people like to listen to. We have a whole massively fluctuating & consumable category of E X T R E M E L Y generic music called pop that is almost exclusively praised for how easily consumable it is and it's still pretty great. Give up your ego and cease the pursuit of prestige and you'll be a lot happier just doing what actually makes you happy as opposed to comparing yourself to lofty ideals of pushing boundaries that you will always internally keep as a moving goalpost anyway. You're trying to out-do yourself and everyone else at the same time and this will keep you down. People who make groundbreaking content do so unintentionally by having initially started with derivative processes. No man is an island, creativity doesn't exist in the void, and no matter what all the content you produce is gonna be the sum of the experience you've had with other forms of content and media and environmental experiences that were never internal anyway. Even the first caveman who decided to bang two rocks together for fun had to have heard two coconuts fall one after another to get an idea of what rhythm is.
nigga i don't know what u said cuz i ain't read all that shit but
FUCK YEAH!
I concur.
