The verbal abuse got worse and the violent man eventually hit his wife and she started crying. Both me and the old lady with white hair looked at each other in disbelief that we had witnessed such a harsh reality of life. The verbal abuse continued furthermore and the old lady with white hair walked over to me and said "you should do something." I replied "it's none of my business, if she doesn't like being abused by her husband then she can divorce him." I then picked up my coat and left. Was I wrong not to get involved in shit that literally has nothing to do with me? Just because I am a man?
