Been listening to this album again. Why was 1981 such a good year for post-punk?

i used to like that album when i was 13 then i grew up

If you like insulting people based on their music taste then you have a whole lot more growing up to do.

my fucking grandpa is a big fan of this, user

>tfw no floofy goth gf to play with her hair

>wouldn't do it
>breaks up with me and gets a Mohawk

JUST

how do you get a goth gf?

...asking for a friend.

Poach them in goth clubs.

Met another before her, but she didn't pursue anything with me.

Just post in chart threads.

cEvin Key just post this on Facebook

>:^( I hate Disney

At least it was not using a dog character like that fucking puppy from The Black Cauldron.

lmao and someone posted this int eh comments

something bout that fish..

Probably easier to find a Skuppy fan in Canada.

Are you and I the only two people here?

Don't know
I like the first one better myself. The Sound was a very peculiar band, nothing else really quite like it.

I find a lot of obscure or lesser known bands from that time actually aged well, given that that was fucking 27 years ago.....

Most of the shit repeatedly posted on here won't last 2 years at most

How could that be, when I can tell from your post that you are 12?

I heard this song earlier and was totally digging it, it reminded me of something like throbbing gristle or joy division, and then I heard their other stuff and was like meh. From what I hear death in June is pretty politically charged, which I don't care for in music. Whats everything I should know about them?

That they are not a good indication of neofolk at large despite being among the most well known.

I always pick up something new when listening to pic related, this record is unreal

Have you heard Downy? Their Paper Hats cover was my first exposure to This Heat.

never heard of them but it does this heat justice, I'll match your japanese cover with one as well
