Found this bad boy in a dumpster near my apartment, is it still any good?

it looks perfectly good why would someone just throw it away they could've gotten like 60-100 dollars for it

Of course it is, it's a fucking guitar, get some strings and learn to play ;)

>martin
Sure

Sure you did you lyin bitch

Well, I can't say anything on the quality if I haven't played it yet.

Yeah it looks good.

There's also moist shit in the sound hole any tips on how to get it out?

Nice!
I also found this bad boy in the landfill near me, not sure if I'm gonna keep it

whats the serial number? and what model. youre probably bsing but whatever

dehumidifier?

Where can I read this?

You can put like, a carrot or something into the guitar to take the moisture out. That's what some guy on the internet told me.

should be inside the body, right below the neck. use a light to see it.

That's Nick Drake's guitar, a D-28 Dreadnought

No one just "throws away" guitars. It's fucking haunted

Why does he have a classical guitar in the Five Leaves Left promo pics?

Silica (which you prolly don't have) or dry white rice are great for absorbing excess moisture.

>mfw all these (you)s

according to acquaintances, he never played it

>perfectly good quality undamaged martin
>"found in a dumpster"

dead

Meanwhile the only guitar I've ever found abandoned was this busted-up hunk of junk.

Huh, have you read any biographies about him?

goddamn throw that shit back in the trash idiot

>moist shit in the hollow

It's not yours, go put it back.

pics or it didnt happen

Nice! I just found this '62 jazzmaster in a case in the dumpster :^)

of course

his other guitar might have been a 0018 but I don't think it sounds the same t b h

finders keepers

isnt that willie nelsons guitar

Those were promo pics for Bryter Layter, and the Yamaha classical was his other main guitar. He might not have ever owned a D-28, by the way, but it is known that he had a Levin Dreadnaught that looked a lot like a Martin. Eventually, he burned whatever dreadnaught he had and bought a 000-28 to replace it.

This is all according to the book his estate put out that has the only pictures of him playing guitar, receipts for guitars, and sections of his dad's journal.

I wonder how much those guitars costed back in the day
