how do dual monitors work?
how many pc and windows i need?
How do dual monitors work?
install htop pls
You need a separate graphics card for each monitor as well as a phase sync card to coordinate the signals and keep them locked.
5, exactly 5.
>he only has one phase sync card
lmao must suck being poor
What if I want to run different things on both of them? like a game on one monitor, another is browsing the web?
You don't need to install anything. It's literally in the pc settings. Go to your screen settings and fuck with the options for 5 minutes. That is, if you already connected the monitors.
>You need a separate graphics card for each monitor
stop giving people advice!
Dude... Two screens doesn't mean more RAM. If you couldn't do it on 1 you equally won't be able to do it on 2...
Dual monitors are for plebians
Pics or it didn't happen
I just gave you a pic
>current year
>only having 3 monitors
that fucking cat! seriously dude? i don't think it's yours but i'm hammered, did you post this in the other thread?
My dual 27" 1440p monits beats your wimpy as fuck 21" 1080p monitors.
we asking for a stamptimer
You need a lot of RAM to run two monitors at the same time, but it goes better after delete System32
>spends $800 in monitors
Thank you. I thought that was implicit...
Well it is my pictute of my cat that i currenty use as a desktop but yes you challenged me to a cute cat off last thread
whats the problem poorfag?
i paid 1000 for a phone
dont buy a cheap phase sync card, it will just wrecl the liquid stitching on both monitors, what sort of DVI-ESED cables do you have?
And we found the dickhead.
nice, cheers bud.
...
I have zero clues about pc.
pull out the thick black cable right now and check the pins, if they have springs in them its a DVI-ESED cable, if not youll need to get one, you can push the pins in with scissors or something
YouTube is your friend.
Ok here's a question:
I main Linux but want to get back into pc gaming. When I get a new system, should I:
a. dual-boot Linux and Windows
b. keep a two-system setup, possibly using a KVM switch to share monitor/keboard/mouse
c. try to game in a VM with GPU passthrough
Just go back to windows.
sometimes only one pin is spring loaded. Op this is the quickest way to know if you're ready.
>I main Linux
well good luck dipshit.
Not an option. I will use it for gaming and itunes, but nothing else, that's why I asked the question.
install gentoo
ok, so all I need is the right cables.
and can use a tv as monitor?
check the spring pins in the black cable, leave it plugged into the wall or the springs dont work, press them with a saftey pin or scissors.
