First post best post

Awoo?

Since /sg/ is pretty much on life support, where else on Sup Forums do you guys hang out?

GLORY TO THE STATE!

i go to /tr/ frequently to get my dose of cancer

What a complete farce.

/lit/ and /his/

rest of Sup Forums

had made an IND/POL/ thread a few hours ago for people to ask about India and for Indians to discuss
Im still posting there but most posts are poo in loo etc
oh well

theyre getting totally rekt

where is that french user who said Azaz pocket would get massive foreign support and smash ISIS and gain a serious foothold?

>have some of the most defining political leaders of a generation in beautifully designed palace room
>defile it with shitty japanese cartoons

YPG is amassing troops near Azaz, that pocket seems to be coming to an end.

Sup Forums, /u/ and rest of Sup Forums

Yeah seems like Azaz will finally fall.

Turkey also invaded the Efrin canton - shit's heating up.

Well it seems that the Raqqua offensive has come to a halt.

How long will it take for the Iraqi Army to capture Fallujah?

Not sure if truth. It was obvious they wouldn't be able to capture the city, but the offensive ended too quick.

Its official...PetoLucem says Mare has been cut off from Azaz

Let me post it one more time ;_;

Were is Efrin on the map?

I cant find it?

sometimes /lit/

It's spelled Afrin on google maps.

nowhere actually

Used to be Sup Forums regular on and off for years but man that is shit now and always was a waste of time anyway.

why has this general fallen? The developments section seems to be as eventful as ever

roaches

Nothing happened since Palmyra - it died down. Only in recent days have there been happenings again.

Thanks

Well it could be to have that secure zone were Erdogan has been bitching about. Still, I did not expect this move from ISIS. It comes so sudden.

They are getting reckd in Falluhjah, SDF and YPG are/were advancing towards Raqqua and they are getting bombed near Palmyra and in Deir-es-soir as well.

I guess this was their only position they could attack which didnt have that much air cover.

I hope that the YPG will be able to protect the FSA, Perhaps the FSA will emerge into the YPG. Who knows...

Offensive is kill! No!

It's mostly Ahrar/Nusra around Azaz.

FSA is located mostly in Daraa and Latakia/west Idlib.

How long will it take for the Iraqi Army to capture Falluhjah?

Will it be something like Ramadi?

Place your bets here:

> 1 week
> 2 weeks
> 3 weeks
> 1 month
> 2 months

> Never, the attack will fall, like Alleppo offensive.

The Islamic State has captured kaljibrin and kafer kalbeen in northen halab, it seems that rebels are collapsing there or they are joining isis to defend Raqqah.

Why is ISIS killing Nusra?

They both want Shariah Law and are both of the Same religion right?

Seems like a waste of power IMO.

Here's the deal now guys:

>ISIS cutted off Mare from Azaz in North Aleppo
>SDF/YPG is starting rearm their forces to take Mare before ISIS and begin the offensive in >
North Aleppo Countryside.
>Also, in the other side of the river, Raqqa Offensive was just a decoy, a massive force of YPG/SDF is ready for Manjib Offensive with Russia and USA coalition ready to strike
>The Nirm is on North Aleppo to recapture Anadan.
>Russia is coming back to BTFO FSA/Nusra in Aleppo

God, I hope that Trump becomes President.

Berny will just die of old age and Hillary would keep on funding Moderate Beheaders to stop the Ebil Regime ::: DDD

While Trump would work together with local groups, And Putin. Would ''fire'' Moderate beheaders and maybe even work together with Assad to take out ISIS.

He is our only hope, he might not do much for SAA and Russia but Hillary would take every opportunity she could get to fuck up ISIS for the best ally, Israel

...

Nusra is backed by Turkey and Saudi Arabia. ISIS is a loose cannon - it's not controlled by anyone. They're a liability for the interests of these regional powers, although Turkey has tolerated ISIS as a way to contain the YPG.

>Why is ISIS killing Nusra?
They take different approaches. Al Qaeda likes to cooperate with local militant groups that share the same objectives, while ISIS wants to be the boss and force everyone to join them or be beheaded. Both aim for a global caliphate but because of that they can't work together.

Looks like /SG/ got played.

I just hope for more happenings and victories to keep /SG/ Alive

Why wont Al-Nusra join ISIS?

Deir Ezzor:

SAA kills more ISIS militans and regain ground South of the Panorama Checkpoint.

Nusra reached out to ISIS to form some kind of truce when the ISIS-rebel conflict began. ISIS ignored them and attacked anyway.

ISIS isn't interested in sharing anything, be it power, supplies, or land.

Well, Jihadis killing Jihadis'.

I am not even mad.

Because they would need to submit to ISIS. They wouldn't have equal status. They had some talks to join efforts around 2014 but they failed

Yes, is strange. They are almost the same except on the brutal executions of isis. Also, al-baghdadi declared himself the caliph and the leader of al-qaidah didn't like it.... last week I saw this in a pro isis community

>700 meters is an ""invasion"""
wow its fucking nothing, they probably set that up to defend the wall construction

>turkey steps up border security
>extremist jihadists still cross the border into Idlib

The most recent "'"""ceasefire"""" meant that Russia and Syria could not overtly make major moves against non-ISIS groups while the charade of ceasefire was officially in place. Anytime they tried attacking Nusra the State Department would bitch about it and the media would spin it as them attacking civilians and "FSA".

The FSA seem to have made it clear they wont participate in a ceasefire and peace deal unless Assad steps down which is a non-starter so its likely that they will eventually abandon it. I also read in the past few days that Russia gave the non-Nusra rebels their last warning to separate from Nusra areas so if they fail to do that which is likely then shit will heat up again soon which to some extent is already happening.

probably 2 weeks at most. I read that the numbers there are ridiculous with it being something like 2 or 3k ISIS vs. around 15 or 20k Iraqi forces not even counting the Shia militias.

Over the past few months i have started to hate the kurds more and more.

Digging through their history, i can see that they are a bunch of backstabbing pseudo-marxist shiteads.

They alligned themselves with the USSR just so they could get weapons to blow shit up. When USSR fell, they completely changed their ideology becoming "libertarian socialists" and equality , independance and what not.

Now it seems like the kurds have literally turned into another US proxy.

And what they do in is pretty dumb. First they suicide bomb things, blow shit up, and then when the shit comes back flinging at them , tehy go all GURDS WANT PEACE ::DDDD

Fuck ISIS, Fuck rebels, fuck turks and gas the kurds.

Glory to the SAA

about 2 months

Discuss Please.

Why would it take 2 weeks or 2 months

wall construction is on the "rojava" border, not idlib
mostly because of the mountain ranges and shit though, i bet they will try to extend this wall as much as they can on the eastern turkish border

>fuck turks
wew lad what did we ever do to you :^)

test

Urban combat takes a fuckload of time.

ISIS has planted the entire place up with hundreds of IEDs and are not going to surrender.

Also Iraqi army doesn't really have to hurry anywhere so they will take their time , try to conserve manpower + resources and take it slowly.

We already have an example of this in Ramadi.

Nice Webm.

Thank you for making this.

This map just proofs how far we have become and how much more will be needed to end this war.
I said this year that because of the Russian bombing, the war would be over in one year. I am starting to think I might be wrong. Perhaps it would take up to 2020....

looking at filesize it should be possible to make a 2015+2016 webm

*honk honk*
hello this is a moderate rebel, give me weapons pls
youtube.com/watch?v=k4gB7nTKE9w

>I just hope for more happenings and victories to keep /SG/ Alive

Yeah same here. I'm interested in what's going on but this is about the only place to have a little banter as well as get news. /r/syriacivilwar is run by the US State Department I swear.

That would be nice.

Could you also make on of Iraq?

I dont go to reddit. I dont understand how it works.

Sup Forums might look difficult but you can get the hang of it.

Also dank memes.

Fallujah:

ISIS retreat from a town in the North of Fallujah after heavy clashes

I think you're being way, way too optimistic user, I think this conflict is going to hit a decade before it even *begins* settle down :/

I think any way it goes down will require one side to put aside differences and take down one other player, right now it's too many hands in the kitchen, and until it happens they are stuck in permanent quagmire

ORRRR Hillary foolishly puts boots on the ground, beginning the downward spiral into WW3, hooray!

>kurds
>us proxy

How aren't they a US proxy? US openly backs them and now formed a proxy group (SDF)

I could, I have scripts now that automate most of the process

sadly I still have to quicksave individual files from the wikipedia history page, because many of the entries are rollbacks or faulty edits

KEK

Its more that their interests co-align at the moment with regards to fighting ISIS. the kurds have also been cozying up to Russia and for a while they were saying they would cooperate with the SAA (big no-no for the US) as long as they could have some autonomy while remaining part of Syria after the war, that still may be the plan despite recent issues between them.

>Syria: Around 100,000 displaced persons in Azaz area now under IS offensive. Al Salamah hospital evacuated
>mideast.liveuamap.com/en/2016/27-may-syria-around-100000-displaced-persons-in-azaz-area
Well they don't have much options, Turkey has closed their borders for refugees, and I'm sure anyone would prefer Kurds than ISIS.

Tell that to the citizens of Raqqa province.

change the picture of erdogan with the european union

Kek. You are right, I should have said that most people prefer kurds than ISIS, not everyone.

If Hillary becomes president than yes Syria is fucked.

As for Iraq. I have hope that by 2020 isis will be defeated in Iraq. I just hope that not another terrorist group would take its place. Irak will most likely be unstable. But with Iran becoming more richer they have more money and power to support Iraq. Due to this power it could mean that opposing sides would increase their support to destabelise Iraw and Syria.

After Isis gets defeated it would be Kurds against Iraq. Since the Kurds are also in Iran this could mean that the western powers woukd continue to support the Kurds to fuck up Iran. This could backfire since the Kurds are also in Turkey.

I hope you can find the time to do so.

Where do you live in the Netherlands user.

T. Brabander

It would be difficult for the Kurds to cooperate with saa. I mean around Alleppo it could happen but in Northern Syria, there isnt any saa.

>/u/
Good man.

is /sg/ back on?
wtf is happening in north aleppo?
fsa btfo?

Sup Forums, /vng/, Sup Forums and Sup Forums

Either it's ping pong: round 38 or they're actually btfo for good this time.

Marea might fall, possibly Azaz if the YPG joins the attack.

...

i think the whole azaz bullshit was just a ploi to supply ISIS with new weapons and amunition.

It isn't the first time the rebels there lost massive amounts of land and material to them... (well not that much to be honnest...)

We were saying the same thing since the match of Ping Pong started 3 months ago.

twitter.com/deSyracuse/status/736181431760769024
>North #Aleppo : #FSA reportedly regained control of Sandaf after #IS captured it this morning

Marea still cut off from Azaz though.

They killed fighters and their families. I dpubt that is just a way for giving isis weapons

Dude, if YPG/SDF in Jibril now, FSA will be death forever in Marea

did you guys already hear about the new bakery bombing ;D

>assad once again threw some barrelbombs from his helicopter and detroyed the last and only bakery in hreitan (aleppo region.)..

twitter.com/putintintin1/status/736171024224559104

That gif doesn't make sense tho

are there sources for killed family... or did you just make that up for no reason whatsoever...

Gelderland! hello southern neighbour

Why not?

youtu.be/Srv_V3-oqsc

Azaz is under FSA control...
so the FSA should be in the middle...
but still die picture makes no fucking sense seeing that the YPG and the US will rape isis in the coming weeks...

>Omar Souleyman is coming to Chile

youtube.com/watch?v=PQVoB5IsXc8

How much is this meme going to cost?

I haven't been following closely in a while. How are the kurds in Turkey doing?

twitter.com/Ibra_Joudeh/status/736201956918759424

>SAA removing FSA from West Ghouta

twitter.com/VivaRevolt/status/736011280201461760

If the Turks can build something like this why the fuck can't Trump
