Thanks
Well it could be to have that secure zone were Erdogan has been bitching about. Still, I did not expect this move from ISIS. It comes so sudden.
They are getting reckd in Falluhjah, SDF and YPG are/were advancing towards Raqqua and they are getting bombed near Palmyra and in Deir-es-soir as well.
I guess this was their only position they could attack which didnt have that much air cover.
I hope that the YPG will be able to protect the FSA, Perhaps the FSA will emerge into the YPG. Who knows...
Zachary Parker
Offensive is kill! No!
Brandon Gonzalez
It's mostly Ahrar/Nusra around Azaz.
FSA is located mostly in Daraa and Latakia/west Idlib.
Colton Rodriguez
How long will it take for the Iraqi Army to capture Falluhjah?
Will it be something like Ramadi?
Place your bets here:

The Islamic State has captured kaljibrin and kafer kalbeen in northen halab, it seems that rebels are collapsing there or they are joining isis to defend Raqqah.
Anthony Ortiz
Why is ISIS killing Nusra?
They both want Shariah Law and are both of the Same religion right?
Seems like a waste of power IMO.
Henry Baker
Here's the deal now guys:
>ISIS cutted off Mare from Azaz in North Aleppo >SDF/YPG is starting rearm their forces to take Mare before ISIS and begin the offensive in > North Aleppo Countryside. >Also, in the other side of the river, Raqqa Offensive was just a decoy, a massive force of YPG/SDF is ready for Manjib Offensive with Russia and USA coalition ready to strike >The Nirm is on North Aleppo to recapture Anadan. >Russia is coming back to BTFO FSA/Nusra in Aleppo
Jonathan Long
God, I hope that Trump becomes President.
Berny will just die of old age and Hillary would keep on funding Moderate Beheaders to stop the Ebil Regime ::: DDD
While Trump would work together with local groups, And Putin. Would ''fire'' Moderate beheaders and maybe even work together with Assad to take out ISIS.
He is our only hope, he might not do much for SAA and Russia but Hillary would take every opportunity she could get to fuck up ISIS for the best ally, Israel
Kayden Williams

Nusra is backed by Turkey and Saudi Arabia. ISIS is a loose cannon - it's not controlled by anyone. They're a liability for the interests of these regional powers, although Turkey has tolerated ISIS as a way to contain the YPG.
Ryan Campbell
>Why is ISIS killing Nusra? They take different approaches. Al Qaeda likes to cooperate with local militant groups that share the same objectives, while ISIS wants to be the boss and force everyone to join them or be beheaded. Both aim for a global caliphate but because of that they can't work together.
Kayden Barnes

Nusra reached out to ISIS to form some kind of truce when the ISIS-rebel conflict began. ISIS ignored them and attacked anyway.
ISIS isn't interested in sharing anything, be it power, supplies, or land.
Isaiah Diaz
Well, Jihadis killing Jihadis'.
I am not even mad.
William Lewis
Because they would need to submit to ISIS. They wouldn't have equal status. They had some talks to join efforts around 2014 but they failed
Landon Russell
Yes, is strange. They are almost the same except on the brutal executions of isis. Also, al-baghdadi declared himself the caliph and the leader of al-qaidah didn't like it.... last week I saw this in a pro isis community
Chase Morris
>700 meters is an ""invasion""" wow its fucking nothing, they probably set that up to defend the wall construction
Brandon Barnes
>turkey steps up border security >extremist jihadists still cross the border into Idlib
Adam Collins
The most recent "'"""ceasefire"""" meant that Russia and Syria could not overtly make major moves against non-ISIS groups while the charade of ceasefire was officially in place. Anytime they tried attacking Nusra the State Department would bitch about it and the media would spin it as them attacking civilians and "FSA".
The FSA seem to have made it clear they wont participate in a ceasefire and peace deal unless Assad steps down which is a non-starter so its likely that they will eventually abandon it. I also read in the past few days that Russia gave the non-Nusra rebels their last warning to separate from Nusra areas so if they fail to do that which is likely then shit will heat up again soon which to some extent is already happening.
probably 2 weeks at most. I read that the numbers there are ridiculous with it being something like 2 or 3k ISIS vs. around 15 or 20k Iraqi forces not even counting the Shia militias.
Chase Fisher
Over the past few months i have started to hate the kurds more and more.
Digging through their history, i can see that they are a bunch of backstabbing pseudo-marxist shiteads.
They alligned themselves with the USSR just so they could get weapons to blow shit up. When USSR fell, they completely changed their ideology becoming "libertarian socialists" and equality , independance and what not.
Now it seems like the kurds have literally turned into another US proxy.
And what they do in is pretty dumb. First they suicide bomb things, blow shit up, and then when the shit comes back flinging at them , tehy go all GURDS WANT PEACE ::DDDD
Fuck ISIS, Fuck rebels, fuck turks and gas the kurds.
Glory to the SAA

wall construction is on the "rojava" border, not idlib mostly because of the mountain ranges and shit though, i bet they will try to extend this wall as much as they can on the eastern turkish border

Urban combat takes a fuckload of time.
ISIS has planted the entire place up with hundreds of IEDs and are not going to surrender.
Also Iraqi army doesn't really have to hurry anywhere so they will take their time , try to conserve manpower + resources and take it slowly.
We already have an example of this in Ramadi.
Jaxson Russell
Nice Webm.
Thank you for making this.
This map just proofs how far we have become and how much more will be needed to end this war. I said this year that because of the Russian bombing, the war would be over in one year. I am starting to think I might be wrong. Perhaps it would take up to 2020....
Jack Wright

I think you're being way, way too optimistic user, I think this conflict is going to hit a decade before it even *begins* settle down :/
I think any way it goes down will require one side to put aside differences and take down one other player, right now it's too many hands in the kitchen, and until it happens they are stuck in permanent quagmire
ORRRR Hillary foolishly puts boots on the ground, beginning the downward spiral into WW3, hooray!

How aren't they a US proxy? US openly backs them and now formed a proxy group (SDF)

I could, I have scripts now that automate most of the process
sadly I still have to quicksave individual files from the wikipedia history page, because many of the entries are rollbacks or faulty edits

Its more that their interests co-align at the moment with regards to fighting ISIS. the kurds have also been cozying up to Russia and for a while they were saying they would cooperate with the SAA (big no-no for the US) as long as they could have some autonomy while remaining part of Syria after the war, that still may be the plan despite recent issues between them.
change the picture of erdogan with the european union
Carson Wright
Kek. You are right, I should have said that most people prefer kurds than ISIS, not everyone.
Austin Sanders
If Hillary becomes president than yes Syria is fucked.
As for Iraq. I have hope that by 2020 isis will be defeated in Iraq. I just hope that not another terrorist group would take its place. Irak will most likely be unstable. But with Iran becoming more richer they have more money and power to support Iraq. Due to this power it could mean that opposing sides would increase their support to destabelise Iraw and Syria.
After Isis gets defeated it would be Kurds against Iraq. Since the Kurds are also in Iran this could mean that the western powers woukd continue to support the Kurds to fuck up Iran. This could backfire since the Kurds are also in Turkey.
Anthony Sanders
I hope you can find the time to do so.
Where do you live in the Netherlands user.

It would be difficult for the Kurds to cooperate with saa. I mean around Alleppo it could happen but in Northern Syria, there isnt any saa.

i think the whole azaz bullshit was just a ploi to supply ISIS with new weapons and amunition.
It isn't the first time the rebels there lost massive amounts of land and material to them... (well not that much to be honnest...)
Levi Morales
We were saying the same thing since the match of Ping Pong started 3 months ago.
Azaz is under FSA control... so the FSA should be in the middle... but still die picture makes no fucking sense seeing that the YPG and the US will rape isis in the coming weeks...
