i have fantasies about playing these sorts of people NON in isolated rooms

...

I do, and industrial threads can get very interesting sometimes
But today its all about glass eating or something so it will derail soon
Try again on a weekend (when 30+yr old fags visit the board)

Where can I get my hands on the most aggresive Industrial that isn't ear rape? I need to get my blood flowing bros

Test Dept go pretty hard on some tracks

Terrorfakt

best industrial release in years

Does that exclude most Aggrotech?

Noise is industrial, user

I'm listening to KABLAM rn if that counts.

this is really good. got any more like this my man

Where industrial and goth collide.

[citation needed]

Nope.

...

Uniform is significantly thrahier and sludgier but its a good listen.

SPK - Information Overload Unit
Einsturzende Neubauten - Zeichnungen des Patienten O.T.

...

...

ahahahaha fuck no
I may be new to this but I know enough to say you're wrong
Industrial music is made to mimic the sounds of a factory or place like that
For example:
m.youtube.com/watch?v=L_uBH9vWV4M
Sounds like machines, right? That's industrial. Its drum machines and instruments meant to sound like that. Noise music is just noise.

You can't be new enough.

I adore it, along with darkwave, aggrotech, neue deutche harte and gothic metal.

Why did we ever let the internet bully it out of being popular? Edge is a good thing, darkness should be revelled in, not seen as inferior to the mundanity of light.

Bane?

You jest, but I really did have a dark childhood, on par with MK Ultra kids.

It kinda does fuck you up big time, but I love my damaged self extremely deeply, regarding normal people like you with nothing but belittlement and loathing.

PAN SONIC

full disclosure there are ear rape parts in this but maybe you're not a total puss

me kind of, I'm more into industrial techno though

RIP in pieces mika vainio ;-;

Fucking love TBM. One of the few bands from my teenage years that I still get hyped for since they make good ass pop that dominates my listening for like a month.

For real. He probably had so much incredible shit left in him.

>tfw you're into dark electro, aggrotech, industrial, dark ambient, power electronics, rhythmic noise, harsh noise and basically everything related to that

I was astonished when I heard he died desu, he seemed way too healthy to die so young
youtube.com/watch?v=y8O5pQIooMY

i can't get into anything other than early industrial or power electronics. maybe new beat. call me close minded, but EDM, aggrotech, industrial metal are just too schmaltzy

Industrial Metal was my first genre that I started actually listening to.

Remember Celldweller, Blue Stahili, Machinae Supremacy was all the rage back in the day

You can always choose to embrace it ironically. It's nice music to dance to and played more often in clubs than actual industrial.

More like the Female track? Holy shit

just finished downloading the entire whitehouse discography

this guy truly knows what's up

I hope it looks similar to this.

Dark Ambient is the shit

post rhytmic noise faget

what are you looking for when you listen to industial stuff, what do you like about it?
I don't know anything quite like it tbf. These tracks have a somewhat similar feel imo though that remix is really special

I'm more a Winterkälte man myself.

youtube.com/watch?v=rivWB3RwRFI

wow what a retard

>what are you looking for when you listen to industial stuff, what do you like about it?
i like the dehumanizing, cold, machinistic aspect of it

container makes rhythmic noise
youtube.com/watch?v=enYerFKM7tg

youtube.com/watch?v=7dD4Tj9g7Os

neat, tbf I don't like all their stuff since it's meant to hear live but l'd also love to see them for the same reason
youtube.com/watch?v=ERM0bMJ9Jwo
lmao that's my favourite track from converter, btw if anyone is interested in ant-zen and hymen there's a shit ton of them on rutracker and it's easy af to get in
somatic responses are in my top 3 they're literally GOAT, they can do anything, the next link is my all time fav from them but their recent stuff is also rad
youtube.com/watch?v=dvmFR1aOMvc

You just can't handle the meat.

me

TBM is amazing.

Iffy on the latest album though. I feel like the mix kinda fucked them. Chibi sounds great at the forefront, but as soon as she gets leveled with the rest of the music...it sounds so lackluster.

Send me some industrial that isn't cringy and edgy

Manson isn't industrial

He is Industrial Metal.

whos NON

>Industrial thread
You better be b8ing.

I like Industrial alright, in fact I love it.
I hate the thought of being associated with people like in OP's pic, though.

It's really funny how someone can bitch about something being unappreciated and then kick away anyone who shows interest because they don't know the ultrea-secret password.

I AGREE

>I hate the thought of being associated with people like in OP's pic, though.
it was supposed to be a bait thread i think

Most of the industrial I listen to use synths, what are some groups that use metal objects as instruments? Like Einstürzende

What you're listening to is electro/ebm
Proper industrial is based on samplers, not synths
But if you want ppl banging on stuff give Babyland a chance, their first 2 albums are god-tier lost gems

Noin Onch Noils

industrial bump

That's what I meant, also thank you for the rec

You are welcome.

t. Newfag
t. Found out about industrial yesterday from Hot Topic clerk

user... There's nothing industrial about Machinae...

If industrial was a person I would fuck it let it eat me and bear its child
listen to this an telepathic fallen angel
youtube.com/watch?v=vhXFmN9C7Tc

so who pwns and owns Sup Forums I DO
the collective
post here at your own risk

Are you baiting? Noise evolved directely out of the early industrial scene. Many of the frist indutrial bands in the late 70's/early 80's boarderd on noise you clown
>Industrial music is made to mimic the sounds of a factory
Somewhat, but not necessarily. Especially when it comes to OG bands.

youtube.com/watch?v=OZWmYEUoweg
youtube.com/watch?v=FIkJMoBntn4

Guitars =/= metal

Those things pretty much only apply to Antichrist, but fair enough i guess

>there are people on Sup Forums right now who think industrial got its name from "sound of factories"

amazon.com/Marilyn-Manson-Industrial-Panties-Underwear/dp/B01DITDF24

Most people here were not alive to see Industrial Records' bands, though.

As much as I like Front 242 and Skinny Puppy, EBM really fucked industrial in the long run.

The amount of cybergoth and synth pop shit that passes for industrial nowadays makes me sad

I'm not old enough to see them live and I still know where the name came from, it's not like the information isn't available with a simple google search

Most people care only about aesthetic more than history. That is why shit like pastel "goth" exists.

It's not the music's fault, its the fault of the people that are too lazy to properly categorize music. Skinny Puppy tried to coin post-industrial but people just wouldn't have it. EBM and the rest is just the logical evolution of industrial music (I mean, just look at Coil and PTV)

Yeah, and that's the sad thing, hence my initial post. Most of my local goth scene is made out of edgy 15 year old metalhead girls who want an excuse to wear a shitty corset. Which makes it hard to have a scene because almost every gig goes to the red. The industrial scene here is good, but way too small, so the gigs go even more to the red.

Einstürzende Neubauten - Kollaps
Throbbing Gristle - The Second Annual Report
God - Possession
God – The Anatomy of Addiction
Laibach - Rekapitulacija 1980-84

Where are you at now?

I don't think I can say that without retarded drama, the community is already so small and incestuous that it would probably be obvious who I am

post more girls

Gaia Online

What is yer offer?

bumperino

>Proper industrial is based on samplers, not synths
you know TG/Cabaret Voltaire/SPK all used synthesizers early on right?

me but cybergoth and aggrotech are not industrial, they're bullshit garbage for mallgoths.

>TBM
>pastel goths

stop throwing terms around if you don't know how to properly use them

those guys did their sampling by cutting tapes
that's hardcore

Yeah there weren't even any commercial samplers around their time they just used tape loops. They still used analog synthesizers.

>Are you baiting? Noise evolved directely out of the early industrial scene
Really false. Noise has a different thought process to industrial but both owe more to dadaism and futurism than each other. Give these two albums a spin:
discogs.com/de/Luigi-Russolo-Die-Kunst-Der-Geräusche/release/3001233
discogs.com/Various-Dada-For-Now-A-Collection-Of-Futurist-And-Dada-Sound-Works/release/869101
And absolutely investigate Russolo, read his manifesto.

>Noise has a different thought process to industrial but both owe more to dadaism and futurism than each other

ugh. shut up.

Except dada's idea of noise was "throw a siren there innit" and industrial actually made the sound.

You're right, they're trashpop
