Hi. I bought some oxycontin earlier today, 20mg pills. I crushed two of them up in to fine powder and snorted it little over an hour ago. I feel little to no effect, maybe slightly more relaxed. Is it possible i'm immune to oxy or what the fuck is going on?
I doubt they were fake either the source i got them from is well reputed.

The reality is if you've already taken even one 20mg pill and it's been longer than two hours and you don't feel anything you're either not taking any or your allergic to opiates and will likely be having an adverse reaction shortly

First off you want to slightly moisten the coating and wipe it off, you lose some when you just crush the pill and pick it out. Ok now you might feel a ton the first time you do opiates, I had to split an oc 80 and a 20 with my buddy for his time to get him fucked up. It’s weird but some people need to adjust to oxy their first time, most people don’t have to but I would see this occasionally with people who used to buy oxycontin from me back in the day. I would typically kick them a free pill the next day and they were solid customers for life after that.

Also op it is worth mentioning that many overdoses result from snorting an opiate. The full dose can take up to 20-30 mins to kick in, especially if you clear your nose and get a big hit. Most injection/smoking overdoses occur instantly because the drug immediately hits.
The best course of action is snort a small drop of water (read small) to push the drugs back into the mucus membrane and wait 20-30 mins before redosing (with opiates). You don’t want all of the drugs to go into your mouth. The ideal spot is where the bone meets cartilage in your nose, and this is where you should rest the end of your straw. Plenty of people just put the drug in the hairy, mucusey, cartilage part and waste the drug. This could be why you feel nothing

i did take the coating off from one of the pills i took. i will try taking the 50mg i got left tomorrow when i wake up by crushing them and dissolving in water and then drink it. mani get extra pissed off that i didnt feel anything when i read what you are writing about how good they feel and shit. I did get a slight opiate buzz when i tried taking the last half of a pill and plugged it in my ass. so i guess theres something wrong with my nose but i get good effects when i snort coke and speed. wierd..

I NEVER could understand why people crush up and snort medications that are intended to be taken orally. an overwhelming majority of prescription drugs(including oxy) have much higher bioavailability when taken as intended. No excuse to snort a fucking pill unless you are such a junkie that you cant wait the 20-30 minutes for the drug to kick in. lasts a lot longer when you swallow the pill like a normal person.
