Very emotionally introspective, wish rock would come back in style
You enjoy going out and partying, but underneath it all you're actually very quiet.

bump

Misses youth, often feels empty but gets bursts of nostalgia that you mistake for different emotions.

You stand in the shower a little longer than you probably should. You just want to cuddle up next to someone that'll love you.

Introvert, feels uncomfortable making eye contact. Overthinks during social situations and wonders how everyone else manages to interact so effortlessly.

Thinks often about death. Nihilistic but you don't let it bog you down and use it to brush off your mistakes.

You enjoy a good night out, have a small group of close friends and a wider outer circle. You are starting to find solace in your identity.

You enjoy a bit of weed now and again and are mostly a happy-go-lucky type of person. You try and look on the bright side and comfort those around you even if inside things are crumbling.

Kurt Vile - Smoke Ring For My Halo
Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti - Lover Boy
Girls - Album
Buzzcocks - Singles Going Steady

Nostalgic bedroom dweller. Lives a pretty sedentary lifestyle.

In early 20's, lives in a big city. White and has either more or less friends than most people on Sup Forums

Late 20's maybe early 30's. Performed very well in school, has a decent computer related job

Maintains a stern outer shell, but is a softy inside.
Wants to own a small comfy house by a lake.

Sorry, haven't heard many from the others. Most of you have good choices though.

> Thinks often about death. Nihilistic but you don't let it bog you down and use it to brush off your mistakes.

I guess it's works for like 9999999999 billions of people, but that's actually truly accurate

No, most people are idealistic rather than nihilistic

System Of A Down - Toxicity
Minor Threat - First Two Seven Inches
Radiohead - Kid A
Nirvana - In Utero
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral

You used to listen to shitty indie pop/rock like Tokyo Police Club in high school.

Arguing over taste is petty to you, you know what you like and don't care what others think. Also you have/had a close relationship with your father.

You moved around a lot in your adolescence.

You don't understand rock music so you disregard it as music of the past.

how are you guys able to make these assumptions? it always impresses me

I basically extrapolate the emotions I feel when listening to a each album listened on a persons chart. From that I conjure a basic image of the person and make a vaguely specific assumption about them.

For example I believe you to be in your early twenties, you enjoy the soothing effect of alcohol. You're a night owl and hate early mornings. You're a reserved person and worried to open up to others as you're scared that if they understand who you "really are" it'll drive them away.

Obviously it's all conjecture and a bit of fun in the end but sometimes it hits the nail right on the head.

*listed, apologies I'm a little tired

appreciate the response, i'm still struggling with it. all i get is a really basic image to the point that it can be applied to p much most of the ppl in the thread.

>early twenties
p much, just turned 24
>enjoy the sooting effects of alcohol
i imagine i really would if i were to ever have a drink, but i don't want to touch it for that reason. father being an alcoholic also influences that decision
>you're a night owl and hate early mornings
sunrises are their saving grace
>reserved person
mhm, don't think this bit will ever change
>worried to open up to others...
yeah, but i've been working on being more vulnerable with ppl

i wish i had the means to own one

Junior in college actually, and while I don't have a GF, my friend with benefits (We act coupleish when we hang out but neither of us want a hardcore relationship and aren't "dedicated" to one another) has pretty good taste actually, talking heads, prince, brand new, etc.

nice, metal is shit tho

For top 5 it's either that one or Filosofem, only two metal albums that I really actually think should go in a top 5 to 10 or anything. While I enjoy some metal every once in awhile, for the most part I do agree that it's a lot of shit
