James Ferraro's got the first three words on stuff like Feed Me or Night Dolls With Hairspray but it's not very bluesy
Current 93 - Dogs Blood Rising is close

there's a ton of free improv in power electronics if you listen to anything outside of the absolute most well-known artists like Whitehouse. check out Contraktor, Black Leather Jesus, Survival Unit
The Cardiacs, also Mars Volta if you don't mind unlistenably bad prog-punk

>Dear Valued Customer
>MIND CONTROL
Don't know about the sounds but the looks are pretty awful.

It's supposed to be industrial trance?
That's like the perfect cover.

Vaporwave. It is simply electronic music or hip hop that has been done before. Examples are Flying Lotus, J Dilla, and DJ shadow.

What.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about?

Easy one. Cabaret Voltaire.

There's plenty of that. Talulah Gosh, The Vaselines, Black Tambourine, Rocketship, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart... tons more that I'm forgetting right now. I'm kind of surprised you haven't stumbled into anything on your own.

Kontrust might get close in a song or two

Sun Kil Moon- Common as light and love...
NMH, duh...

mucore doesn't change at this point because people don't want it to change, it'll never get the respect it deserves

Progressive Synthwave

industrial sludgegaze

Astrobrite
Boredoms

The entire genre of vaportrap

Lowercase

idm

aphex twin, boards of canada, the list goes on... :)

Confusingly, easy-listening muzak for middlebrow white people who don't actually like techno is tagged as IDM. The actual intelligent dance music is labelled acid/minimal techno.

>aphex twin
>boards of canada
*tips fedora* nothing personnel, kid :)

Dark Country that isn't just based on lyrics

ska-zeuhl

Progressive Stoner Doom

Mariachi Techno. Will also accept Techno Cumbia.

bossa nova hip hop

Those Poor Bastards. lyrics are there but they have very noisy lo-fi production, the timbres approach black metal in some songs

Television - Marquee Moon

what is post-punk

oh, I guess post-rock and progressive rock are the same thing too?

noise pop punk

Yeah, it's called EAI

Coil - Time Machines

take a blink-182 album, convert to 24 kbps, amplify it in audacity

yeah they kind of are

stop. this is not what trance is, the album does a great job of putting you into a trance but it has no relation to the genre. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trance_music

in some ways i guess but they're also very distinct movements with their own tropes and norms. post-punk specifically was a lot less concerned with "elevating" punk or incorporating influences from more respected art music. the first post-punk artists were more into deconstructing punk and staking out new musical territory, not making musical progress within punk

Post-Harsh Noise

Beatdown Jazz

Pelt.

Slipknot desu
