oh yeah! thanks buddy. could have worsened my tinnitus.
Thanks you're a caring friend.
>Mom, which one should I take to the Death Grips concert?
Thanks but I always have mine with me when I go to a gig
I went to see an imax screening of IT and I wish I had brought mine with me for that.
>I have a huge one to put into my ass too
forgot pic
only pussies where plugs being deaf is where its at
I'm sure you'll look back on yourself when you were 19 at 40 and be glad you didn't wear plugs because the hearing loss and tinnitus was worth being cool. yeah, you're nearly deaf and unable to appreciate music any more, but being cool at a concert was worth it ammirite
I'm seeing Dinosaur Jr next week. Do I need earplugs?
that depends, do you want tinnitus?
Is this a joke? Yes you do they're loud as fuck live
Concerts are way too loud these days.
the youth just needs their music loud to cover up how shit it sounds, just like your beer has to be ice cold to cover up how shit it tastes.

Besides hearing loss, if you go to a show you actually get the proper experience when using ear plugs. The sound engineer has to wear them by law, so you'll actually get to hear it with the intended mixing.
There's no reason not to use it. The music even gets better.
>Wearing earplugs
What are you some kind of pussy? Tinnitus is a myth just like depression. (((People))) only claim (((they))) have it so (((they))) can get attention.
Mate there are still classical music concerts if that's what you prefer. No need to tell people their taste sucks.
Youll wish you were deaf once the tinnitus gets bad enough
...
You'd think the venues would hand them out as compensation for adding charges for your ticket. If engineers need them by law, so should patrons.
I went to a Swans concert and they played so loud you couldn't make out anything but Gira's guitar. I'm sure at a point earplugs actually help you hear whats going on
...
Went to one in Austin.
Was so loud I saw some desperate nerd grab napkins and stuff his ears. I got matched to him on Last.fm later and, what a surprise, he was a really awkward Sup Forumstant.
..This is about my only story of RL interaction with people from this board.
fucking yes. enjoy daddy Barlow jumping around like a damn fool for two hours
Ironic, the people from the last generation say concerts aren't loud enough
They do. I wish I had some when I went to see KMFDM for the first time. They aren't really a loud band, but the sound was fucked up and overly loud and the only time I could hear anything was when I covered my ears.
thanks but i already have my buttplug inserted
Never going to a concert without these again, had 8 months of tinnitus which I'm pretty sure was from a gig and ear infections that just cleared up, which caused even more tinnitus, it was hell, can finally listen to music properly again.
Nearly all venues have earplugs at the bar, (it's the law in some places) but they're the shitty foam ones, but better than nothing, obviously.
