Who in the G5 is considered "elite" at the mid-major level? That is, who isn't P5 material, but has a strong and successful football tradition?
My list, in no particular order, and not necessarily exhaustive:

>UCF
>USF
>Marshall
>Southern Miss
>Navy
>Cincinnati
>Air Force
>Boise State
>SMU
>Houston
>LA Tech
I'd like to put App State, but they don't really have much of a record in the G5, they just stepped up to the mid-majors a few years ago.
