Ultimate regionalized G5 conference checking in.

Every away game would be drivable.

Glad to see some still remember the old ways

Literally no one would care or want to see any of those teams except for ECU, Marshall, App State, and WKU.

Also known as Historically Black College/University Edition, amirite?

Will we be able to have a thread get more than 50 posts in it

Without anime and faggotry we are doomed on a site like Sup Forums

FUCK YOU. The point of college is to challenge your viewpoints, not to mindlessly memorize bullshit formulas that mean nothing. If students protesting racism and fascism scares you, you DO NOT belong on campus.

>b-b-but muh STEM money

Umm, sorry sweety but that bubble has already burst (hint: we don't need math people when, oh, I don't know, a fucking calculator can do everything you can do a hundred times faster). Good luck finding you precious little job with your overrated, unnecessary, barbaric degree. I'll be busy making social change, protesting injustice, and paving the way for a better future.

CHIMP OUT

DO NOT REPLY TO THE "STEM" BAIT.

>HBCU

what a surprise

there are many /cfb/ maps.

There's a
>P5 map
>G5 map
>FCS map
>D2 map
and I hear a D3 map is in the works

I wonder how big Illinois Wesleyan will be. I imagine not much.

>Western Carolina University
lts pretty cool because we have a monopoly on the nickname "Western."
>Nah
>I think so

A "Catamount" is a nickname for a Mountain Lion/Wildcat native to the Appalachian Mountains.

I feel like there is a potential for a good logo, but its not fully realized.

Can anyone post them all?

Western Carolina is like the Waluigi to ECU's Wario. Both are even purple and gold.

>non-football school
>has better catamount logo

Eh. they both look high school tier.

/K-State/ grad checking in

Rebels, check in. Over.

Mountain division checking in.

No debbies over here. Stay vigilant.

My grad school college dean gave a presentation in class tonight.

He wanted marketing ideas (I'm in business school), I suggested athletics.

Thanks to this thread, I gave the example of Liberty University as a test case to observe in FBS football.

Go Vikings.
Go Blazers.
Go Wildcats (Bill Snyder is my idol.)

I get that you have to get creative with these maps sometimes, but the Philly area is screwed up big time. Penn should be all the space north of Delaware until Lafayette, and Villanova should extend westward. Bucknell can extend south to balance it out if needed.

t. went to high school literally half a mile down the street from Villanova

>Be Liberty

>Have boatloads of money

>Have autistic leadership willing to compromise all perceived morals for athletic success

>Move to FBS

>No conference wants you

>Blow millions paying schools to play you in the shantytown of Lynchburg

>Have no rivals

>Have no regular opponents

>Move back down to FCS once Jerry Fallwell Junior dies

you forgot

>blow tens of millions of massive stadium expansion that will never be used

Yeah but they've got the war chest of P5 programs. They can buy the best coaching and athletic talent, and build them a premier facility.

Conferences might come sniffing around with success.

Or they could be a G5 power house like BYU.

Liberty's lack of success at the FCS level, with a budget that DWARFS the rest of FCS, should be enough to tell you that money only gets you so far.

Even if Liberty could bring in good coaching, Liberty would still be a stepping-stone school like the rest of G5.

Their strict "Liberty Way" also probably makes recruiting difficult. Though their new AD from Baylor will probably make that a non-issue.

>Liberty's lack of success at the FCS level, with a budget that DWARFS the rest of FCS

Yeah, but with none of the notoriety and recruiting ability.

>Even if Liberty could bring in good coaching, Liberty would still be a stepping-stone school like the rest of G5.

Of course. You don't step into P5 in your first season. I'd be surprised if anyone other than the Sun Belt, or MAYBE the MAC, ever picks them up.

>Their strict "Liberty Way" also probably makes recruiting difficult.

Religious schools have made this claim, but are known to compromise (more than they should) for football success. See: Baylor, SMU, etc.
